Senior Electrical EngineerJob Summary: Our office in
Orlando, FL is seeking a
Senior Electrical Engineer to lead a fast-paced electrical team. Our Electrical Engineers focus primarily on the design of building-related projects including municipal, hospitality, higher education, entertainment, commercial, DOT and plant projects.
Responsibilities:- Lead, supervise, provide guidance and training to a team of engineers
- Develop electrical system designs of a given project based on scope of work and/or client RFPs
- Provide engineering design, evaluation, and planning of electrical systems for a variety of market types
- Conduct existing building surveys and documentation of existing electrical systems
- Develop system design calculations and selection of equipment for use in buildings
- Write and edit project specifications
- Prepare detailed design documents, reports, and studies
- Perform code compliance research
- Coordinate work with other disciplines
- Provide construction administration services
- Perform QA/QC of design work
- Serve as the primary contact for clients
- Assist in the procurement of new work including the development of client relations and participation in project interviews
- Assist in the growth of the team and/or office
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in electrical design
- PE License (preferred)
- Familiarity with codes, standards, and design guidelines
- Team management experience (preferred)
