The Opportunity
As a Electrical Engineer at LRS Federal, you'll play a pivotal role in the design and delivery of federal facility projects that impact communities and support national missions. This is not your average design job-here, your work will shape outcomes for clients whose standards and expectations are among the highest in the industry.
What You'll Do
- Provide advanced Electrical engineering design services for a range of federal facility projects
- Lead and coordinate design-build projects, working closely with architects, engineers, and construction teams
- Develop and review technical drawings, specifications, and calculations
- Ensure all designs meet rigorous federal standards, codes, and client requirements
- Drive innovation and efficiency throughout the project lifecycle
- Mentor junior staff and support project management as needed
What We're Looking For
- At least 10 years of Electrical engineering experience with substantial exposure to federal projects
- Demonstrated success leading design-build projects (this is a must)
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is a strong plus, but not required
- Deep understanding of federal standards, codes, and project delivery methods
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams
