About the role:As a Senior Electrical Engineer at Charge Robotics, you'll be designing and implementing the electrical systems that power our robotic factory, playing a direct role in deploying gigawatts of clean power generation.
What you'll be working on:- Designing, testing, and validating electrical systems including power distribution, control circuits, and signal conditioning for our robotic factory
- Selecting and integrating motors, motor drives, sensors, actuators, PLCs, and other electrical/electronic components to meet system requirements for reliability and performance
- Creating electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and harness designs while establishing standards for electrical documentation and best practices
- Troubleshooting electrical issues in factory and field deployments, working closely with mechanical and software teams to ensure seamless system integration
You:- Have strong experience in electrical engineering with hands-on skills in power systems, control systems, and industrial automation
- Can read and create electrical schematics, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams, and are proficient with CAD tools for electrical design
- Have experience specifying and integrating electrical components (motors, drives, sensors, relays, PLCs) and understand electrical codes and safety standards
- Have worked in a fast-paced startup environment before, and loved it
- Are excited to work with (and occasionally safely climb into) giant robots
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Are based in or can relocate to the SF Bay Area, and able to work 4-5 days/week from our San Leandro HQ

It'd also be nice if you:- Have experience with high-power electrical systems, motion control, or industrial robotics
- Have a 4-year degree in electrical engineering or a related field
- Are familiar with Python or other programming languages for testing and automation
