Job DescriptionThis OpportunityWSP is currently initiating a search for a
Senior Electrical Engineer for our
Roseville, CA office. Be involved in projects with our
Property & Buildings Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client's objectives and solves their challenges.
Your Impact- Provide advanced technical assistance and guidance for the design, development, and construction of building electrical systems across commercial, institutional, and industrial projects.
- Lead or support electrical engineering design for power distribution, lighting, grounding, life safety, and low-voltage systems.
- Perform and review electrical calculations (load, equipment sizing, voltage drop, grounding, and system analysis).
- Develop construction documents, specifications, and reports aligned with project and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, structural, architectural, and external stakeholders.
- Support and mentor junior engineers and designers; provide QA/QC oversight on project deliverables.
- Assist with project management responsibilities including scope, schedule, and budget tracking for assigned workstreams.
- Ensure deliverables meet WSP quality standards and applicable codes, safety, and functionality requirements.
Who You AreRequired Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- 5-7 years of relevant post-education experience in electrical design for building systems.
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification required
- Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, ICC, IECC).
- Demonstrated ability to lead design tasks and coordinate within multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong communication, technical writing, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Experience with healthcare, commercial, higher education, or science & technology projects.
- Project management experience on small to mid-size projects.
- Experience with sustainable design and energy-efficient building systems.

Compensation:
Expected Salary: $100,800- $147,000
WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location.
