Job Description:

Role Summary:

We are looking for Senior eCommerce Sales Consultant to join our Customer Experience & eCommerce team as part of Caterpillar's Customer Solutions Core Regions Division.

This role will have responsibility for driving eCommerce sales growth and digital utilization across the Eastern United States, working closely with Caterpillar dealers, internal digital, marketing, and commercial teams, and various other cross-functional partners.

What You'll Do (Job Duties)
  • Serve as the eCommerce commercial specialist for Construction Industries, supporting the Eastern U.S. dealer network and associated field-facing teams.
  • Plan and lead the development of exclusive eCommerce promotions and marketing campaigns for Construction Industries.
  • Drive eCommerce sales growth and increased digital utilization through strategic messaging, national sales campaign support, and data-driven insights.
  • Support regional rollout of eCommerce enhancements and sales tools-including promotions, incentive programs, and new digital features-in partnership with Industry, Digital, and Pricing teams.
  • Act as a resource for industry expertise and customer experience, supporting go-to-market planning, dealer enablement, workshops, and training initiatives.
  • Communicate the Voice of the Customer (VOC) and Voice of the Dealer (VOD) to help guide platform prioritization, system improvements, and future eCommerce investments.

  • Effective Communications: Communicates clearly across dealer, field, digital, marketing, and commercial teams to align priorities, share insights, influence adoption, and support successful rollout of eCommerce tools, campaigns, and enhancements.
  • Business Development: Identifies opportunities to expand eCommerce sales, digital utilization, and dealer engagement by leveraging data, market insights, promotions, and cross-functional partnerships to support regional growth objectives.
  • Value Selling: Positions Caterpillar's digital commerce solutions by clearly connecting products, services, technology, and support offerings to dealer and customer needs, demonstrating measurable value and differentiating the eCommerce experience.

  • Caterpillar dealer or industry experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, digital commerce, customer solutions, or commercial strategy

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field

  • Willing to travel in territory at least 35%
  • This position is located in Peoria, IL or Irving, TX

Summary Pay Range:

$128,470.00 - $192,710.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
