We are seeking a Level 3 Network Support Specialist for an Ottawa-based position from August 2026 to July 2027. Candidates must hold a SECRET security clearance and have at least 10 years of experience as an IT Network Support Specialist, including a minimum of three years within the last five years supporting a military or similarly complex environment involving physical and virtual machines, multiple operational stakeholders, cross-domain solutions, and transmission media such as UHF, VHF or Beyond Line of Sight (BLOS).
Candidates must also demonstrate at least five years of experience evaluating, testing and recommending data communications hardware and software; configuring and installing network hardware and software; performing vendor-directed network upgrades; and resolving connectivity and internal technical issues. Additional experience is required in maintaining technical documentation, equipment and service records, user and network logs, wiring schemes, and problem-resolution records; providing network and software familiarization to users; preparing work plans, schedules and progress reports; monitoring network traffic; conducting capacity planning; and developing and testing network disaster recovery plans.
