Responsibilities

  • Lead Video Investment team, aligning strategy across Linear and Digital Video

Job Description:

The Video Senior Director is a vocal and engaged leader on their account, overseeing Linear and Digital Video. They are responsible for functions including team leadership, Client business growth, practice excellence, product & service development, and partner relations. They are a valuable asset, as they have the most insight into what is happening day-to-day across the account and at a higher level within the Client's business. The goal of the Senior Director is to provide information the team needs to effectively manage and deliver success at every level. They should look to interface with senior-level resources, both internally & externally, to represent the needs of their Clients.

In terms of management responsibilities, a Senior Director manages the Directors on the account. They are tasked with understanding the Client's business & making recommendations in order to solve for any business challenges. Proactive recommendations should be made on a regular basis. Lastly, the Senior Director should continually look for opportunities to streamline workflows and ensure quality assurance. Monitor recurring deliverables & work processes to identify opportunities to save the team time through automation or elimination of redundant work.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience with at least 4+ years leading Video Investment teams


  • Deep experience with both linear and digital video buying; Strong experience with DSP platforms and biddable activation strategies


  • Knowledge of the dynamics of media - how each media element performs alone, how they perform together, and how they are constantly changing


  • Understanding of the skills and functions of the Investment side of the business, as well as the Strategic Business Units' competencies


  • Strong management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment


  • Ability to foster a strong, cohesive working team, providing leadership and instruction


  • Strong overall communication skills with a focus on presentation excellence


  • Demonstrated leadership experience, with a focus on team development, capability building, and partner relationships

Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day Video Investment team, establishing a unified strategy across both Linear and Digital Video


  • Define and improve team processes, including workflows, roles & responsibilities, and best practices


  • Oversee biddable video activation strategies, including PMP, programmatic guaranteed, and open exchange


  • Partner with the Planning Team to understand Client business needs and proactively identify opportunities to drive innovation and campaign performance


  • Oversee buy setup, forecasting, budgeting, pacing, and ongoing optimizations


  • Support the team in extracting insights from performance data and translating them into strategic recommendations tied to Client business goals


  • Manage Partner relationships to support Client and agency initiatives and bring best-in-class opportunities to the Client


  • Oversee development of strategic and tactical recommendations to Clients and internal stakeholders


  • Lead, mentor, and develop team members, providing ongoing training to build their video knowledge and capabilities


  • Ensure that OMG products are being woven into campaigns where appropriate


  • Put forward POV's including partner recommendations, content alignment, and industry updates


  • Main POC to address Client questions and ad hoc requests


  • Present client-facing decks that outline Linear and Digital recommendations in a clear and concise manner


  • Ensure work across the team is accurate and on time. When challenges arise, provide solution-oriented opportunities for improvement across process, QA, workload, collaboration, and


  • Work with the Director to ensure proper ongoing training is conducted within the team


New York: $120,000.00-$230,000.00

Omnicom's policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. Our objective is to increase this requirement over time, and many of our agencies as well as Omnicom's corporate group already require five days of in-office attendance.
