Job Description

We're seeking a future team member for the role of Product Development Manager to join our Digital Assets team. This role is located in New York, NY.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
  • Drive delivery for key Digital Asset Custody capabilities (wallet services, key management, and operating workflows) by translating outcomes into clear requirements and a prioritized backlog.
  • Write detailed product requirements, define acceptance criteria, and partner with engineering to estimate, sequence, and deliver custody features such as deposits/withdrawals, transfers, whitelisting, approvals, entitlements, and reporting.
  • Work day-to-day with Compliance, Technology, Operations, and Risk to refine requirements, document control needs, and ensure custody releases meet client commitments and regulatory expectations.
  • Partner with engineers and architects to evolve custody services and integrations (APIs/events) to trading, settlement, and accounting platforms, with attention to resiliency, auditability, and operational controls.
  • Contribute to custody security and control design by capturing control requirements in stories, partnering on threat/risk reviews, and supporting evidence collection for audits (e.g., MPC/HSM usage, access governance, segregation of duties).
  • Own end-to-end feature delivery across custody workflows including UAT support, runbooks, and go-live readiness with operations.
  • Support build-vs-buy evaluations by gathering requirements, comparing vendor capabilities, and documenting tradeoffs across security, regulatory expectations, resilience, cost, and time to market.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
  • 15+ years of experience in product management or technical product management, ideally within financial services, or market infrastructure.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with digital asset custody, wallet infrastructure, or adjacent market infrastructure supporting settlement and safekeeping.
  • Hands-on technical fluency: ability to work with engineers on APIs/integrations, read logs and metrics, and use data to validate outcomes and troubleshooting issues.
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Digital asset custody operating models, safeguarding expectations, and control frameworks
    • Wallet types and architectures (hot/warm/cold), transaction lifecycle, and blockchain network mechanics (fees, finality, reorgs)
    • Key management and cryptography concepts, including MPC and HSMs, key ceremonies, backup/recovery, and secure signing
    • Operational risk topics for custody: approvals/entitlements, travel rule considerations, reconciliation, auditability, and incident response
  • Experience supporting multiple blockchain networks and asset types, with a pragmatic approach to adding new networks safely.
  • Experience delivering secure, resilient, and auditable software in regulated environments, including strong SDLC practices, change management, and operational readiness.
  • Proven experience delivering platform products end-to-end, translating complex technical concepts into clear roadmaps, requirements, and prioritized backlogs.
  • Execution focused with experience working with multi-disciplinary teams comprising product managers, designers, and engineers.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to gather requirements across cross-functional partners.
