Our Team, Your Impact

The Senior Director, Supplier Relationship Management, serves as the External Manufacturing Site Manager and has accountability for manufacturing performance across a multi-partner external network, ensuring reliable patient supply, product quality, regulatory compliance, technical robustness, capacity readiness, and cost competitiveness. The role leads a cross functional team of business partners representing Manufacturing, Quality, MS&T, Supply Chain, Regulatory, Engineering, Procurement, and Finance as a virtual plant management team (SRT Supplier Relationship Team). The External Manufacturing Site Manager serves as Teva's primary operational interface with the assigned external manufacturing partners. The role is responsible for products generating enterprise-critical revenue impact.

How You'll Spend Your Day

  • Own cross functional coordination of end-to-end operations activities to deliver reliable patient supply, technology transfer, process validation, regulatory approval, commercial launch, market expansion, and lifecycle changes.
  • Establish and oversee internal and external governance frameworks, business processes, performance metrics, and management review programs.
  • Ensure alignment across stakeholders by communicating priorities, expectations, and performance outcomes effectively.
  • Identify potential business and supplier risks, developing proactive mitigation and contingency strategies.
  • Drive resolution of manufacturing delivery and external partner business challenges
  • Partner with MS&T to maintain process capability, control strategy, process robustness and COGS improvement.
  • Partner with Quality and Regulatory to ensure sustainable cGMP compliance, inspection readiness, and effective product quality governance.
  • Sponsor complex investigations, cross-site technical improvements, and manufacturing readiness activities.
  • Engage the culture aligned with Teva Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and procedures
  • Identify and create continuous improvement plans for supplier relationships via SRT
  • Translate product, supply, and commercial requirements into integrated manufacturing strategies, operating plans, and priorities.
  • Establish partnership with BD, Procurement, Sourcing and other key stakeholders to ensure operations input to develop and execute long-term supplier strategies, including growth initiatives, portfolio optimization, continuous improvement programs, and supplier transition plans.
  • Own integrated engineering, capacity, and capital planning for assigned assets and sponsor major projects required for compliance, reliability, growth, and productivity.
  • AOP generation, financial management of budget and COGS reduction for assigned assets.
  • Evaluate capacity, sourcing, resilience, and network requirements; serve as external manufacturing SME on Due Diligence teams which provide recommendations for operational or investment decisions.
  • Collaborate with Procurement in development of supplier strategy and negotiation approach for ongoing relationships.
  • Participate in development of License and Supply Agreements to ensure requirements for effective External Manufacturing oversight for supply continuity are included in the contracts.
  • Drive Lean, digital manufacturing, standardization, performance management, and transformation initiatives across assigned external partners.
  • Represent external manufacturing operations as SME on internal cross functional teams including but not limited to Product Operation Team, Launch Readiness Team, Alliance Team etc.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement while coaching and developing cross-functional team members.
  • Build strong executive-level relationships with external suppliers to enhance manufacturing delivery reliability and long-term value creation.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or related discipline; Master's degree or MBA preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive biologics experience in manufacturing, technical operations, engineering, MSAT, supply chain, or related biologics roles.
  • 10+ years leadership experience in biologics manufacturing including external manufacturing/CDMO management. Leadership experience includes people leadership, matrix leadership, program leadership, or ownership of major business deliverables.
  • Demonstrated leadership of complex cross-functional organizations, programs or projects from strategy through execution, with high energy and bias for action.
  • Strong knowledge of cGMP, manufacturing science, technology transfer, process validation, quality systems, commercial supply, and product lifecycle management.
  • Experience supporting regulatory filings, inspections and launch programs.
  • Strong financial and business acumen to balance operational, quality, safety, financial and strategic priorities, including but not limited to COGS, S&OP/IBP, capital investment, and business cases.
  • Outstanding collaboration, communication, relationship-building skills and conflict management, with proven ability to influence external partners and stakeholders at all levels and in global multicultural matrix organizations.
  • Strong change management capabilities and a track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Travel requirements approximately 25%.


Salary Range

The annual starting salary for this position is between $192,960 - $241,200 annually. Factors which may affect starting salary within this range and level of role may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
