You will lead a high-performing global team of social media managers and content creators to ensure our brands remain the most talked-about in popular culture. • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, E-commerce, and regional leaders to build "link-to-ladder" strategies, drive direct-to-consumer sales, and balance global brand positioning with local market execution
  • Oversee global social media budgets, manage relationships with external agencies and platform partners (Meta, TikTok, Google), and guide the development of viral-ready, vertical-first creative content
  • Act as the primary social expert to inform internal product development while confidently presenting social-first strategies and performance data to internal executives and external licensors (e.g., Disney, Nintendo)
  • Leverage platform analytics and social listening tools to identify real-time micro-trends, define critical KPIs, and translate data into actionable insights for leadership
  • Set the gold standard for global community management, ensuring brand reputation is protected in a 24/7 digital environment through effective crisis response and social customer service
  • Anticipate cultural shifts across film, fashion, gaming, and beauty to deepen our position as a lifestyle franchise brand, particularly for powerhouse properties like Squishmallows

  • Exceptional fluency in internet culture, fandoms, and digital subcultures (ToyTok, gaming, collectors) coupled with a hands-on "creator mindset"
  • High proficiency with enterprise social tools (Sprout Social, Sprinklr, Dash Hudson) and a strong understanding of how licensors evaluate brand safety and performance
  • Exceptional storytelling, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills to seamlessly align Marketing, Product, PR, Sales, and E-commerce goals
  • A highly adaptable, fast-paced leader who can pivot strategies within hours in response to trends, cultural moments, or algorithmic changes
  • Comfortable with occasional nights, weekends, and travel tied to launches, events, and shoots
