About the Role

McKesson is seeking an accomplished Senior Director, SAP Transformation Delivery to lead large-scale enterprise transformation initiatives focused on SAP ECC-to-S/4HANA migration. This executive-level role will provide strategic leadership, governance, and delivery oversight for a complex, multi-workstream ERP transformation program. The successful candidate will drive program execution, manage delivery risks, lead cross-functional collaboration, and ensure successful transition from planning through deployment, hypercare, and steady-state operations.

This role partners closely with business stakeholders, technology leaders, systems integrators, and executive sponsors to deliver measurable business outcomes while advancing McKesson's transformation objectives.

What You'll Do
  • Own the integrated SAP S/4HANA migration program plan, critical path, milestones, dependencies, and overall delivery roadmap.
  • Lead program governance, PMO execution, stage gates, sprint reviews, executive reporting, RAID management, and decision forums.
  • Drive proactive risk, issue, dependency, and change management across multiple workstreams and stakeholder groups.
  • Manage Systems Integrator (SI) performance against scope, schedule, quality, and agreed delivery KPIs.
  • Establish and oversee quality gate governance, including entry and exit criteria for SIT, UAT, regression testing, mock cutovers, and production readiness.
  • Lead cutover planning, release readiness, hypercare execution, and transition to steady-state support operations.
  • Partner with senior business and technology leaders to align program outcomes with strategic priorities and enterprise objectives.
  • Develop high-performing teams while fostering collaboration, continuous improvement, accountability, and operational excellence.

Minimum Requirements- Degree or equivalent experience. Typically requires 13+ years of professional experience and 6+ years of diversified leadership, planning, communication, organization, and people motivation skills (or equivalent experience)

Critical Skills
  • 15+ years of experience in SAP program management, ERP delivery leadership, or large-scale enterprise transformation initiatives.
  • Proven leadership of multi-workstream SAP transformation programs within complex enterprise environments.
  • Deep experience delivering full lifecycle SAP ECC-to-S/4HANA migrations, including Bluefield or Selective Data Transition approaches.
  • Demonstrated expertise in program governance, PMO leadership, risk management, dependency management, and executive reporting.
  • Experience managing global System Integrators, vendors, contracts, and delivery performance metrics.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior executives and cross-functional leaders.

Preferred Skills/Experience
  • Experience leading large-scale ERP modernization programs within healthcare, distribution, pharmaceutical, supply chain, or highly regulated industries.
  • Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology, Agile delivery practices, and enterprise release management frameworks.
  • Experience overseeing SIT, UAT, regression testing, deployment readiness, and cutover execution.
  • Financial management experience, including program budgeting, forecasting, investment planning, and value realization.
  • Experience leading organizational change management and business adoption activities.
  • Familiarity with cloud transformation, SAP ecosystem solutions, enterprise architecture, and integrated business processes.
  • Advanced communication and executive presentation skills.
  • SAP certifications preferred.

Travel / Work Environment / Physical Requirements
  • Position may require periodic travel to McKesson offices, implementation sites, and vendor locations.
  • Hybrid or remote work arrangements may be available based on business needs.
  • Ability to participate in extended planning sessions, executive reviews, and occasional time-zone-flexible meetings supporting global teams.
  • Standard office and computer-based work environment.
