Job Summary:

The Senior Director, Project Management drives security and IT infrastructure projects from concept through implementation, owning outcomes, timelines, and executional success. Reporting to the Chief Security Officer, this role combines pragmatic problem-solving with executive relationships to remove roadblocks, manage complexity, and deliver business impact. This is a hands-on position where the Project Manager orchestrates cross-functional teams, interfaces directly with leadership on incident response and critical initiatives, and drives resolution of scope, timeline, and resource constraints through influence and operational excellence. This role's primary ownership will be in execution of Trimont's Security Program initiatives and roadmap.

Responsibilities:
  • Acquire a comprehensive grasp of project parameters, including scope, necessary resources, stakeholder engagement, key milestones, and criteria for success.
  • Implement rigorous and regular reporting mechanisms that cover aspects such as project progress, planning, potential risks, resource allocation, and accomplishments.
  • Craft succinct and insightful reports tailored for executive leadership, providing clear visibility into project developments.
  • Cultivate strong collaborative ties with all parties involved in the project, ensuring seamless interaction and cooperation.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of project outputs and progress updates to guarantee precise and transparent communication of the project's current standing.
  • Design and execute clearly defined communication strategies and reporting frameworks for the project, ensuring information is efficiently conveyed and recorded.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution or equivalent professional experience in business.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication, as well as proven interpersonal and leadership capabilities.
  • 10+ years of project management experience with a track record of delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives.
  • A track record of managing and delivering successful projects, with concrete instances as evidence.
  • A historical focus on building stakeholder relationship, balancing priorities, and managing roadblocks; over traditional project task management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and adept in using Microsoft Project or similar project management software.
  • Capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously and adhering to deadlines.
  • Must be resilient to disruptions in workflow while consistently meeting organizational deadlines.
  • Skilled in prioritizing tasks, managing time effectively, and organizing work responsibilities efficiently.
  • Must be adept at working with diverse teams and communicating effectively across all levels of the company's organizational structure.
