Senior Director, Product Management, Credit Bureau Reporting
About the Team
Capital One is centralizing the analysis and reporting of complex financial transactions to unify credit bureau reporting and deliver a differentiated customer experience. As the Product Leader of the Credit Bureau Reporting platform, you will:
Partner with Lines of Business (LOBs) to define and build reusable platform capabilities to support multiple Financial Products across the company
Lead the development of a user-friendly experience that enables Lines of Business to create and innovate on Financial Products on the platform
Drive the platform agenda to adhere to our Enterprise Platform and Operational Excellence standards
Ensure the platform meets the requisite risk and compliance requirements
Determine the optimal platform answers with our Tech Partners that solves for business need and engineering best practices
The product leader on this team will broadly interface with stakeholders across all lines on businesses including Card, FS and Bank, and play an increasingly critical strategic role in modernization, as they will need to balance the needs of today with enabling the future, which will translate into the following kinds of problem solving:
Strategically managing our team interactions with senior stakeholders across lines of businesses to achieve near and long-term goals
Proactively managing our product risk and health posture - and directly informing related functional requirements in our modern platform
Driving product management best practices throughout the organization and establishing a culture of product management discipline

The expectation is the leader will build and maintain a highly engaged, high-performing team through a combination of development within the existing team and recruiting new talent, as well as play a horizontal connective role to elevate the culture, talent, operating rhythms, and inclusivity in the broader team as it to evolves and matures.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in any field and at least 7 years of Product Management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $269,600 - $307,700 for Sr. Dir, Product ManagementNew York, NY: $294,100 - $335,700 for Sr. Dir, Product Management
Richmond, VA: $245,100 - $279,800 for Sr. Dir, Product Management
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidates offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
