The Senior Director of Process Improvement is a strategic executive leader responsible for defining, leading, and sustaining enterprise-wide process transformation initiatives across the revenue cycle continuum. This role provides vision, leadership, and governance to improve operational efficiency, financial performance, quality outcomes, and patient experience through the application of Lean methodologies, automation technologies, analytics, and continuous improvement principles. The Senior Director partners closely with executive leadership, operational stakeholders, information technology teams, clinical leadership, and revenue cycle departments to identify and eliminate systemic barriers impacting revenue integrity, reimbursement, operational effectiveness, and organizational performance. This position drives transformational change across Patient Access, Health Information Management, Coding, Billing, Claims Resolution, Denials Management, Appeals, Reporting, and Revenue Integrity functions. The Senior Director establishes enterprise performance improvement strategies, develops long-range transformation roadmaps, oversees a portfolio of high-impact initiatives, and ensures organizational adoption of standardized best practices. This leader is accountable for achieving measurable financial, operational, and quality outcomes while fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $125,569.60 to $170,019.20 on an annualized basis. The compensation estimate noted above is specific to California and has not been adjusted for any other geographic location. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
