Job DescriptionWe9re seeking a future Leader for the role of Senior Director, Product Manager to join our Payments Enablement team.
The Payments Enablement Platform is seeking a Senior Director Product Manager to lead the Data Services group and drive the evolution of the platform9s data strategy, products, and capabilities. This leader will be responsible for defining and executing a modern data strategy and target-state architecture that supports Payments modernization, AI enablement, regulatory obligations, and enterprise consumption of Payments data.
The role will establish and lead the platform9s transition to a Data Mesh operating model, ensuring data products, governance, quality, and infrastructure capabilities are designed for scale, resilience, and long-term sustainability. The successful candidate will partner closely with Engineering, Operations, Risk, Controls, Data Management, Architecture, and business stakeholders to define and deliver the data capabilities required to enable advanced analytics, automation, and AI-driven innovation across the Payments platform and the businesses we support .
As the senior product leader for Data Services, this individual will shape the strategic vision, operating model, and roadmap for enterprise data capabilities across Payments and be a critical contributor to the overall Payment strategy and the Product Management practice in the Platform . The role requires a unique combination of product management expertise, enterprise data strategy, governance, architecture, and transformation leadership to establish the foundation necessary to support AI-enabled solutions, data-driven decision making, and future platform growth.
Primary Responsibilities- Define and execute the strategic roadmap for Data Services in alignment with Payments Enablement Platform objectives and enterprise data strategy.
- Lead the implementation and adoption of a Data Mesh strategy, establishing data products, ownership models, governance standards, and operating principles across the Payments ecosystem.
- Drive the development of scalable data infrastructure and capabilities that support AI enablement, analytics, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making.
- Partner with Engineering and Architecture teams to define target-state data architecture, metadata management, data lineage, data quality, integration capabilities, and data product standards.
- Establish and prioritize the Data Services product roadmap, balancing strategic transformation initiatives with regulatory, risk, audit, and operational requirements.
- Collaborate closely with Risk, Controls, Audit, Compliance, and Data Governance partners to strengthen data management practices and ensure adherence to enterprise standards and regulatory expectations.
- Serve as the Product Manager for Data Services capabilities.
- Develop use cases, priorities, success metrics, and value realization measures for strategic data initiatives.
- Drive stakeholder alignment across Product, Engineering, Operations, Risk, Controls, Data Management, and Architecture teams while managing dependencies, risks, and strategic trade-offs.
- Act as the senior product leader and subject matter expert for enterprise data strategy, data products, AI readiness, and data governance within Payments.
- Lead product planning, prioritization, execution, and adoption to ensure delivery of capabilities that advance the Payments platform9s strategic objectives.
- Champion modern data management practices that improve data quality, transparency, governance, accessibility, and operational effectiveness across the Payments ecosystem.
Required Qualifications- Extensive product management leadership experience within financial services, payments, transaction banking, data platforms, or related domains.
- Deep expertise in data strategy, data product management, data governance, and modern enterprise data architectures.
- Demonstrated experience leading enterprise-scale data transformation initiatives, including Data Mesh implementation and AI-enabled data capabilities.
- Proven ability to define product vision, strategy, roadmaps, and measurable business outcomes.
- Strong understanding of data governance, regulatory obligations, risk management, and control frameworks within a highly regulated environment.
- Experience influencing senior stakeholders and leading large cross-functional initiatives spanning Product, Engineering, Operations, Risk, Controls, and Data Management organizations.
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, leadership, and executive stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to translate complex data and technology concepts into clear business outcomes and strategic priorities.

Base salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base salary is only part of the total rewards package, which may include eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive award.
