Position Overview

This role can be remote or based in any of our US locations: Denver, CO; Phoenix, AZ; Santa Clara, CA; or Ashburn, VA.

The Sr. Director, Strategic Program Reporting & Executive Delivery Coordination supports the Chief Procurement Officer by gathering, validating, and consolidating information on enterprise procurement initiatives, data center infrastructure programs, financial commitments, and customer-facing deliverables across global functions.

The role maintains integrated plans, milestone schedules, dependencies, action logs, and progress-to-plan reporting across functional and customer teams. It does not govern the underlying work, own functional decisions, or replace accountable business leaders; it provides the reporting discipline, visibility, follow-through, and executive synthesis required to keep priorities on trajectory.

The successful candidate will combine strong technical understanding of data center infrastructure, capital projects, power systems, supply chain operations, procurement technologies, and financial reporting with exceptional skills in information gathering, schedule integration, data quality, and concise communication for the CEO and executive leadership.

Essential Job Functions
  • Serve as the central coordination and reporting partner to the Chief Procurement Officer for priority commitments and executive deliverables.
  • Gather timely updates from procurement, operations, engineering, finance, construction, supply chain, and customer-facing teams.
  • Maintain integrated milestone plans, deliverable trackers, decision logs, dependencies, risks, and follow-up actions.
  • Compare actual progress with approved plans, identify variance and trajectory risk, and present fact-based status to accountable leaders.
  • Prepare concise CEO, executive leadership, and Board materials that clarify progress, upcoming milestones, decisions required, and recovery actions proposed by the responsible owners.
  • Coordinate reporting cadences for leadership meetings, business reviews, and customer-related commitments without assuming governance or decision rights.
  • Follow through with accountable owners to keep commitments visible, current, and moving toward agreed dates.
  • Maintain the consolidated portfolio view for strategic initiatives, transformation programs, and cross-functional customer deliverables.
  • Integrate functional plans into a common timeline showing key deliverables, critical path milestones, dependencies, assumptions, and accountable owners.
  • Collect and reconcile status inputs across teams, challenge inconsistencies, and maintain a reliable reporting baseline.
  • Develop standardized dashboards, executive scorecards, and reporting templates that show progress to plan.
  • Surface emerging schedule, dependency, resource, scope, and financial risks to the appropriate accountable leaders for action.
  • Track agreed recovery actions and forecast changes while leaving decisions, execution, and outcomes with the responsible functions.
  • Gather and consolidate delivery updates for data center development, operations, infrastructure, and customer-driven programs.
  • Coordinate reporting inputs from Engineering, Construction, Operations, Product, Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, and customer-facing teams.
  • Maintain sufficient working knowledge of power generation, electrical distribution, medium- and high-voltage equipment, UPS and backup generation, cooling and mechanical systems, capacity planning, fuel supply, alternative energy, and asset lifecycle management to test reporting completeness and translate technical issues for executives.
  • Track design, sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, site-readiness, commissioning, readiness-for-service, and customer-commitment milestones across integrated schedules.
  • Identify timing gaps, interdependencies, late inputs, and changes that may affect delivery trajectory; route them to accountable owners and record agreed actions.
  • Support business cases and investment reviews by organizing technical, schedule, commercial, customer, and risk inputs from functional owners.
  • Gather, reconcile, and synthesize financial information supplied by Procurement, Finance, Accounting, Treasury, Tax, FP&A, and project teams.
  • Maintain executive reporting across capital and operating expenditures, budget performance, forecasts, cash flow, supplier spend, working capital, inventory liability, tariffs, tax implications, and risk-adjusted exposure.
  • Track reporting deadlines, assumptions, source owners, reconciliations, and unresolved data gaps.
  • Translate financial updates into clear progress-to-plan views and executive narratives without assuming ownership of budgets, forecasts, controls, or accounting judgments.
  • Coordinate monthly, quarterly, annual, investment, and supplier-business-case reporting cycles.
  • Escalate material variances, missing inputs, and inconsistent forecasts to the accountable finance or business leader for resolution.
  • Formulate CEO, executive leadership, Board, audit, investment, and steering-committee materials from validated functional inputs.
  • Consolidate operational, technical, procurement, customer, and financial information into concise progress-to-plan reporting.
  • Clearly distinguish completed milestones, upcoming commitments, schedule variance, risk exposure, required decisions, and owner-led recovery actions.
  • Maintain consistent definitions, status criteria, version control, and source traceability across reporting packages.
  • Tailor the level of detail and narrative to the audience while preserving accuracy and accountability.
  • Ensure executive reporting reflects the positions of accountable functions and does not create implied ownership by this role.
  • Consolidate KPIs defined and owned by the relevant functions into a consistent executive view.
  • Monitor trends across cost, supplier performance, quality, inventory, delivery, project execution, cash flow, capital deployment, sustainability, and operational SLAs.
  • Maintain metric definitions, reporting cadence, source ownership, and data-quality exceptions.
  • Highlight movement against plan, forecast, and prior-period performance without setting functional targets or governing performance.
  • Coordinate monthly operating reviews and ensure follow-up actions, owners, and dates remain visible.
  • Build detailed reporting packages and decision-support views from source data provided by accountable teams.
  • Maintain dashboards and management reports using Power BI, ERP systems, procurement platforms, financial reporting tools, and data warehouse environments.
  • Coordinate data validation, reconcile conflicting submissions, and document assumptions and limitations.
  • Improve reporting efficiency through standardized templates, automated refreshes, and disciplined data collection.
  • Translate complex technical, commercial, customer, and financial information into clear executive-level insights.
  • Lead analysts, reporting resources, and project coordinators supporting data collection, schedule maintenance, and executive reporting.
  • Set clear standards for accuracy, timeliness, traceability, and concise communication.
  • Develop the team's technical understanding, analytical judgment, and stakeholder coordination capability.
  • Foster disciplined follow-through and service to accountable business and customer-facing functions.
  • Additional duties as assigned by Management
