About the Role

Reporting to the Vice President, Pharmacy Operations & Clinical Excellence, you will lead and inspire a team of Regional Pharmacy Directors across many provinces. In this pivotal role, you will be the driving force behind ensuring exceptional pharmacy operations and program execution across our Shoppers Drug Mart pharmacy network, while fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Development
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Regional Pharmacy Directors, providing ongoing coaching, feedback, and support.
  • Champion a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence within the Pharmacy Operations team.
  • Build strong relationships with regional teams to support stores and foster a collaborative relationship with Associates across the country.

Program Execution & Optimization
  • Ensure consistent and effective execution of all pharmacy and healthcare programs across all regions.
  • Provide critical feedback to central office teams on program design, training materials, and rollout strategies for continuous improvement purposes.
  • Identify and address barriers to program implementation, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to find solutions.
  • Collaborate with the Pharmacy Experience Team to ensure a seamless pharmacy patient experience.
  • Monitor program performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure consistent adherence to pharmacy Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Pharmacy Certification standards across all regions.

Communication & Collaboration
  • Act as a key liaison between the field and central office, providing real-time feedback and insights on pharmacy operations.
  • Work closely with the Regional Vice President to ensure strong communication and alignment between pharmacy and national operations.
  • Effectively communicate complex information to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
