Description & Requirements

As our incoming Senior Director, you will lead the transformation of People Experience technology strategy, product execution, and digital enablement across the People Experience (PE) function. Reporting to the VP of People Experience Transformation you will be an important member of the extended PE leadership team, working with IT, PE Business and Practice Partners, Global Talent, Compensation, and People Experience Operations to deliver modern digital services. You will lead a small team of PE technology product leaders and translate EA's PE service delivery model into intuitive, scalable solutions that support employees, people leaders, and PE team members around the global enterprise.

This is a hybrid role, and you'll work in office 3 days a week

Responsibilities:

Implement a product-led, experience-first People Experience technology strategy that aligns with PE goals.

Develop a multi-year People Experience technology roadmap that spans the PE portfolio and is integrated across functions including talent, performance, rewards, workforce planning, and employee experience.

Define People Experience Technology strategy focused on implementing advanced technology concepts resulting in automation, simplification and improved user experience for employees, people leaders, and the People Experience team.

Build and evolve the systems landscape including, Core HR, Goals, Performance, Learning, Workforce Compensation, and Recruiting using Workday or similar systems.

Ensure systems provide capabilities to meet all governance requirements in several regions across the globe.

Design an integrated technology strategy to ensure:

Employees to access services independently through personalized, smooth digital experiences.

People leaders to simplify their experience across platforms to take action and make data-informed decisions across talent, performance, and team management.

PE team members to manage workflows, annual program management, data analysis, workforce planning, talent management, and compliance tasks with technology that enables efficiency.

Seamless embed employee experience design across systems and workflows, applying feedback and analytics against improvements.

Partnership & Operating Model Leadership

Be a strategic technology partner to HR Operations and People Services, working to modernize case management, knowledge delivery, process automation, and service resiliency.

Collaborate with IT, enterprise architects, data teams, analytics, and external vendors to ensure cohesive delivery across the People Experience tech stack.

Co-lead vendor evaluations, platform integrations, and contract management in partnership with procurement and legal.

Evolve the HRIT operating model to embrace product thinking, Agile delivery, and a culture of continuous improvement.

Define and govern product ownership, team roles, and accountability across HR, IT, and external contributors.

Improve process in backlog prioritization, release planning, and delivery operations.

Define, communicate and partner improve related to technology strategy implementation across the global organization. Guiding important partners across PE in preparation for change in ways of working.

Investment Planning & Innovation & AI Enablement

Develop business cases and secure investment for prioritized technology projects, quantifying impact across cost, productivity, experience, and scalability.

Stay ahead of industry trends and translate them into relevant opportunities.

Champion AI and machine learning applications that support personalization, process automation, and proactive insights.

Implement skills aggregation and integrated tools that create talent visibility, career development, and workforce knowledge.

Ensure data integration and orchestration across HR platforms to support thoughtful, context-aware experiences.

Team Leadership

Grow a team of HR technology product leaders, promoting a culture of collaboration, clarity, and influence.

Mentor senior talent and contribute to leadership development within the broader PE and Total Rewards organizations.

Qualifications:

12+ years of progressive experience in People Experience technology, digital product leadership, or enterprise transformation roles.

Expertise partnering with several specialty teams in multiple disciplines to provide impactful technology solutions.

Experience aligning service delivery models with platform capabilities across global workforces. Expertise in cloud-based HCM suites (e.g., Workday, SAP, Oracle), EXTech, and point solutions.

Hands-on familiarity with AI/ML, skills intelligence frameworks, and EX orchestration tools to enhance workforce insights and automation.

Capability in developing investment cases and driving execution in a matrixed environment.

Pay Transparency - North America

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).

PAY RANGES

* California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. San Francisco) *$215,900 - $327,900 USD

Pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA.

In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
