SUMMARY

The Senior Director of Partnerships will be a key member of the fundraising and strategic growth success of the Marketing and Development Department. This position, under the direction of the Senior Vice President of Marketing and Fund Development, will lead the development, cultivation, and stewardship of corporate, foundation, community, and strategic partnerships. The Senior Director of Partnerships will be responsible for expanding revenue opportunities, strengthening external relationships, and advancing ADAPT Community Network's mission through meaningful collaborations and philanthropic investment.

ESSENTIALDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The duties and responsibilities of the Senior Director of Partnerships include, but are not limited to:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy aligned with organizational fundraising and growth objectives.
  • Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward corporate, foundation, government, and community partners.
  • Manage a portfolio of major donors, sponsors, and strategic partners.
  • Develop sponsorship opportunities for organizational events, campaigns, and program initiatives.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective partners and funding opportunities.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to establish annual revenue goals and track progress toward achievement.
  • Negotiate partnership agreements and ensure successful fulfillment of partnership commitments.
  • Represent ADAPT Community Network at community events, conferences, networking opportunities, and stakeholder meetings.
  • Create partnership proposals, presentations, donor communications, and stewardship materials.
  • Analyze partnership and fundraising performance and present insights and recommendations to leadership.
  • Coordinate with Finance on reconciliation, grant reporting, sponsorship revenue, and partnership reporting requirements.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and strategic direction to development staff and cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure timely recognition, reporting, and impact communication to partners, sponsors, and donors.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Four to six years of progressively responsible experience in fundraising, corporate partnerships, business development, nonprofit leadership, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated success securing significant sponsorships, grants, philanthropic investments, or strategic partnerships.
  • Experience managing executive-level relationships and collaborating with senior leadership and board members.
  • Experience supervising staff and leading complex initiatives preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, networking, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Raisers Edge, donor management systems, fundraising platforms, and CRM software.
  • Knowledge of fundraising support services ranging from prospect identification through donor stewardship.
  • Strong strategic planning, business development, and revenue generation abilities.
  • Ability to analyze data and utilize insights to drive fundraising and partnership strategies.
  • Ability to supervise, train, and lead professional staff and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Due to the sensitive nature of the position, must be able to maintain the strictest confidentiality.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.

COMPENSATION: $105,000 Annually + Industry-Leading Benefits!
