Full Job Description
Senior Director of Mental Health Services

Andrews Center is seeking an experienced Senior Director of Mental Health Services to provide executive leadership for our Mental Health programs and services. This role is responsible for strategic planning, operational oversight, regulatory compliance, fiscal stewardship, and the development of high-performing leadership teams. As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, the Senior Director will collaborate with internal and community partners to strengthen behavioral health services, improve outcomes, and advance the organization's mission of delivering high-quality, person-centered care. Experience with grant writing and grant-funded programs is preferred.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive leadership experience in behavioral health.
  • At least 5 years supervising managers or directors.
  • Experience managing multiple behavioral health programs, budgets, and organizational initiatives.
  • Knowledge of Texas public behavioral health systems, HHSC requirements, Medicaid, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience with a Texas Local Mental Health Authority (LMHA) is strongly preferred.
