Position Summary

Senior Director of Human Recourses - Orlando Regional Medical Center (ORMC)

The Senior Director of Human Resources provides strategic direction to site HR teams and oversees the administration, coordination, and evaluation of all HR functions. This role partners with site leadership and corporate teams to align HR strategies with organizational goals and ensure a positive, productive work environment.

Work Setting:

This role is fully onsite at 52 W Underwood St, Orlando, FL 32806

Essential Functions
  • Partner with site administrative teams and corporate leadership on strategic initiatives.
  • Direct and lead site HR departments and corporate HR initiatives to ensure successful partnerships.
  • Develop strong working relationships with site and corporate leadership.
  • Anticipate the impact of HR on future Orlando Health strategies and goals.
  • Create systems for information, measurement, and accountability to support strategic business functions.
  • Develop and implement programs, projects, and initiatives to meet site and HR objectives.
  • Ensure HR needs of the site are met and coordinate overall HR functions.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends, pending legislation, and regulatory standards.
  • Develop and implement department goals aligned with corporate HR objectives.
  • Prepare annual budgets and manage expenses within expectations.
  • Review and evaluate department performance; report progress to VP of HR and site President.
  • Assist with assimilation of team members from mergers, acquisitions, and affiliations.
  • Ensure consistent interpretation and application of HR policies for fair and equitable treatment.
  • Promote ongoing communication and recognition to foster a positive work environment.
  • Align with corporate HR directors to identify challenges, opportunities, and trends.
  • Facilitate and manage change to support team member and leadership acceptance.
  • Direct on-site delivery of HR services, programs, and initiatives in alignment with Orlando Health's mission, vision, and values.
  • Ensure timely follow-up on customer service issues.
