Position SummaryThe Senior Director of Human Resources is responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction for the organization's Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and Employee Engagement functions. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, this role partners with executive leadership and business unit leaders to develop and execute people strategies that attract, develop, engage, and retain a high-performing workforce while fostering a positive, inclusive, and accountable culture. The Senior Director leads initiatives focused on organizational development, succession planning, talent management, employee relations, performance management, HRIS optimization, and compliance with applicable employment laws, ensuring HR programs and practices align with the organization's strategic objectives and support long-term business success.
Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership & Planning- Develop and execute enterprise HR strategies aligned with ACRT Services' strategic objectives.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO, executive leadership, and business unit leaders.
- Lead organizational development, succession planning, workforce planning, and culture initiatives.
- Partner with IT/IS to optimize HRIS and modernize HR processes.
- Establish and monitor HR metrics and KPIs.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning- Provide strategic oversight of talent acquisition and onboarding.
- Partner with leaders to identify workforce needs and talent gaps.
- Develop recruiting strategies supporting organizational growth.
Learning & Organizational Development- Lead Learning & Development strategy and leadership development programs.
- Support performance management and career development initiatives.
- Ensure training aligns with business and customer needs.
Employee Engagement & Employee Relations- Foster a positive, inclusive, high-performance culture.
- Lead employee engagement and retention initiatives.
- Coach leaders on employee relations and conduct workplace investigations.
HR Operations & Compliance- Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws.
- Utilize HR analytics and prepare executive HR reporting.
Supervisory Responsibilities- Provide leadership and direction for the Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and Employee Engagement teams.
- Hire, coach, develop, evaluate, and manage team performance while fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
RequirementsMinimum Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 8+ years of progressive HR experience, including leadership in a multi-location organization.
- Experience partnering with executive leadership and leading organizational development, talent acquisition, employee relations, and HRIS initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.
Preferred Qualifications:- Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification.
