Full Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:

HUB International is seeking an experienced Senior Director, Governance and Compliance. The individual is responsible for establishing and maintaining a robust data governance framework and ensuring accurate and timely compliance reporting, with a specific focus on managing compliance data from third parties. This position plays a critical role in enhancing the organization's third-party data management practices, improving data quality, and providing insightful reports to support compliance decision-making and board of director reporting requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute data governance and reporting strategy that aligns with business goals and growth plans.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement efforts to meet evolving demands.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive third-party data governance framework, including policies, procedures, and standards for compliance data management, quality, and security.
  • Establish and maintain a third-party data inventory and data lineage documentation to ensure a clear understanding of data sources, flows, and dependencies.
  • Develop and implement data quality management processes for third-party data required for compliance, including data profiling, cleansing, and validation.
  • Identify and prioritize third-party data requirements for regulatory reporting and internal compliance monitoring.
  • Monitor and analyze compliance reporting metrics related to third-party data to identify trends, patterns, and potential areas of concern, and provide recommendations for improvement.


Qualifications
  • In-depth knowledge of data governance frameworks, data quality management practices, and data security principles.
  • Strong understanding of compliance regulations, reporting requirements, and performance monitoring practices
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive data governance initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data requirements into actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, data visualization, and business intelligence tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, Snowflake or QlikView.


Education, Training, and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in compliance, with at least 5 of those years in a management role.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing data governance policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and monitoring KRIs and KPIs for compliance programs.


The expected salary range for this position is $ 190,000 to $220,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate's skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position's business line, scope and level.
