About The Role The Global Insurance Services Practice is looking for Life Actuaries with 10+ years of experience. As a Senior Director, you will be responsible for delivering actuarial services to a variety of insurance companies, corporate entities, and/or law firm clients.
What You'll Do - Take a leadership role in client engagements to include pricing, reserving (including Statement of Actuarial Opinion work), due diligence, development of rating models, predictive modeling, internal controls assessments, and litigation support
- Interact confidently and professionally with FTI and client personnel throughout various engagements
- Assist with the development of proposals and participate in other business development initiatives
- Oversee staff in execution of actuarial services

What You Will Need To Succeed Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- Fellow or Associate of the Society of Actuaries
- 10+ years of relevant post-graduate professional experience
- Expertise in Microsoft Office products
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to travel to clients and FTI office(s) as needed
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; this position does not provide visa sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years of consulting experience
- Relevant life insurance or annuity experience in pricing, valuation, and/or reinsurance
- Demonstrated ability to interface with team members and client personnel in demanding, deadline-driven situations
- Demonstrated problem solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with predictive modeling tools and languages, and actuarial modeling software

CompensationMinimum Pay: $119,500
Maximum Pay: $329,500
