Senior Director is responsible for the overall leadership of staff, P&L responsibility and revenue growth/EBIT for Atlanta, GA/Boxborough, MA locations. This position has the potential for 50% travel.

What you'll do:- Oversight of labs within an assigned region.
- Overall responsibility for the revenue/cost/EBIT for the region and drive towards maximization.
- Identify/develop/improve processes to enhance and maximize efficiencies and margin/expense.
- Coordinate with other working groups to create synergies and reach and exceed targeted goals.
- Mentor and develop management staff by setting appropriate goals and objectives.
- Participate in technical trade or association meetings.
- Serve as a technical resource to management staff and major clients.
- Serve as part of the US Leadership Team.
- Actively work with sales leadership to drive growth and customer relationships.
- Manage Capital expenditures of responsible laboratories.
- Make business recommendations on capital expenditures and other initiatives.
- Investigate and promote new business opportunities.
- Perform other duties as required.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in engineering, management or scientific discipline
- 10+ years' operations management experience in an engineering environment
- 8 years of budget management and P&L responsibility
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent leadership and team building skills
- Must possess entrepreneurial qualities
- Microsoft Office software expertise
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
- Must be client focused and quality driven
- Must be able to confront and resolve conflict in an effective manner
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to travel as business needs dictates at least 50% of the time
Preferred Requirements & Qualifications:- Master's degree
- Experience within a testing or product development laboratory
