Full Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Director, Index Product Management - Product Launch & Commercialization to lead the launch and commercialization execution of new investment products linked to Nasdaq indexes. This individual will serve as the business lead responsible for managing the client launch experience, coordinating cross-functional execution, and helping scale Nasdaq's global product launch capabilities.

Role Overview
The Senior Director will lead the end-to-end implementation and launch process for new investment products tied to Nasdaq indexes. Following commercial approval of a licensing opportunity, this individual will become the primary business lead responsible for guiding clients and internal stakeholders through implementation and market launch.
The role requires close collaboration with clients and teams across Index Portfolio Management, Research & Development, Sales, Distribution & Insights, Governance, Marketing, and Legal. Success will require strong client management skills, commercial judgment, program leadership, and the ability to drive results across a highly matrixed global organization.

Key Responsibilities
Lead Client Launch Execution
  • Serve as Nasdaq's primary business lead for new index-linked investment product launches.
  • Manage client onboarding, implementation planning, launch readiness, and market introduction activities.
  • Develop launch plans, manage milestones and risks, and ensure accountability across stakeholders.
  • Partner closely with Sales to ensure a seamless transition from commercial approval through launch execution.

Build and Scale Launch Programs
  • Design and enhance Nasdaq's launch framework, processes, governance, and best practices.
  • Improve launch readiness, reduce execution risk, and accelerate time-to-market.
  • Establish reporting and operating mechanisms that provide visibility into launch pipelines, progress, and key dependencies.
  • Capture lessons learned and continuously improve the client launch experience.

Drive Prioritization and Cross-Functional Execution
  • Coordinate resources and execution across Product Management, Research & Development, Sales, Distribution, Governance, Marketing, and Legal.
  • Evaluate competing opportunities and support prioritization decisions based on strategic objectives, commercial impact, and resource availability.
  • Provide leadership with visibility into launch activity, resource requirements, risks, and execution progress.

Provide Product and Market Expertise
  • Develop expertise across investment product structures including ETFs, mutual funds, structured products, annuities, SMAs, model portfolios, and listed derivatives.
  • Partner with internal teams to identify regulatory, operational, geographic, and product-specific considerations early in the commercialization process.
  • Support Nasdaq's broader growth initiatives by helping expand adoption of Nasdaq indexes across products, investor segments, and regions.

Qualifications

Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in product management, commercialization, asset management, index licensing, capital markets, consulting, or related financial services roles.
  • Significant experience managing institutional client relationships and complex cross-functional initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large programs and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Strong understanding of investment products and the asset management industry.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience utilizing CRM and reporting platforms, including Salesforce or similar tools.
  • Advanced PowerPoint, Excel, and executive presentation capabilities.

Preferred
  • Knowledge of ETFs, structured products, annuities, SMAs, direct indexing, and other index-linked investment vehicles.
  • Experience launching investment products across multiple regions.
  • Familiarity with global regulatory and operational considerations affecting investment products.
  • Experience working within a global, matrixed organization.
  • Experience building dashboards, reporting frameworks, and commercialization processes.

This position will be located in New York City, NY and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.

The base pay range for this role is $155,000 - $287,000. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive), and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth. Exact compensation may vary based on several job-related factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, experience, education/training, business needs and market demands.
