TITLE: Senior Director, GTM Lead of Professional Services (P&C).


WHAT YOU'LL DO:


The Senior Director, GTM Lead of Professional Services (P&C) is a senior sales role responsible for driving professional services revenue within assigned areas of focus at Duck Creek Technologies. Working within the established professional services sales function and alongside its leadership, this role sells to new and existing enterprise insurance customers and follows current sales practices, tools, and methodologies to build pipeline, improve conversion, and forecast accurately. Success depends on close partnership with Professional Services leadership, the software sales organization, and external alliance partners, so that services are positioned early, scoped well, and sold as part of every Duck Creek opportunity.


  • Own professional services revenue targets for assigned areas of focus, working within established sales management tools and processes to meet and exceed goals.
  • Support and develop members of the services sales team through coaching, deal guidance, and sharing of best practices.
  • Work with Professional Services leadership to position current service offerings effectively in the P&C market and share customer feedback that helps shape the portfolio over time.
  • Partner closely with software sales account teams to bring services into deals early, align on account strategy, and make sure services are part of the overall Duck Creek value story.
  • Work with alliance partners, including Tier 1 SIs, to identify co-sell opportunities, clarify where Duck Creek and partner services fit together, and grow partner-influenced pipeline.
  • Generate and grow a healthy pipeline through defined offerings, customer-facing teams, partner channels, and expansion within the existing customer base.
  • Work with Professional Services delivery teams to make sure deals are scoped accurately, priced appropriately, and set up for successful delivery and strong customer outcomes.
  • Collaborate with sales operations on reporting and forecasting to provide clear line of sight to services bookings and revenue against target.
  • Support and own strategic pursuits, working hand in hand with software sales and partner teams from early engagement through close.
  • Contribute to go-to-market planning by bringing customer and partner perspectives into services strategy discussions.
  • Use and help refine existing sales plays, proposal templates, and enablement materials so PS, software sales, and partner teams can sell services consistently.

WHAT YOU’VE DONE:

  • REQUIRED:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in P&C insurance enterprise services sales and  architecture, solution design, or technical leadership roles.
  • 5+ years of experience leading and managing technical teams. - Demonstrated experience designing and governing large-scale, enterprise, cloud-based software solutions.
  • PREFERRED:
  • Master’s degree in a relevant technical or business discipline.
  • Experience within the insurance or financial services software domain.
  • Experience working in a global insurance software sales organization.

Actual compensation for this role is determined based on a variety of factors, including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal equity, and geographic location, where permitted by law.

 

For reference, the expected salary range for this position is generally positioned as follows based on candidate location:

  • 174,900 – 249,900: Candidates living in the Boston, New York City–Newark, Los Angeles, San Francisco/Bay Area, Seattle, or Washington, DC metropolitan areas
  • 166,700 – 238,100: Candidates living in Chicago, Dallas–Fort Worth, Houston, Minneapolis, or Philadelphia metropolitan areas, or in Colorado, Connecticut, Maryland, Rhode Island, or Vermont
  • 158,400 – 226,300: Candidates living in Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina, New Hampshire, Oregon, or Wisconsin
  • 140,300 – 219,300: For all other U.S. locations

 

This position is also eligible for annual bonus compensation, subject to plan terms and individual eligibility.

 

Final compensation will be determined based on the factors outlined above and in accordance with applicable law.
