Overview

The Senior Director, Enterprise PMO is responsible for leading HarmonyCares' enterprise project and portfolio management capability. This role will establish the governance, standards, tools, and prioritization processes needed to translate enterprise strategy into coordinated execution across the organization. This role will partner closely with executive, Medical Group, technology, change management, and functional leaders to provide visibility across major initiatives, identify risks and dependencies, and ensure organizational resources remain aligned to the highest-priority work.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Establish and lead the enterprise PMO framework, governance structure, methodologies, tools, and reporting processes

  • Partner with executive leadership to translate strategic priorities into actionable programs and project roadmaps

  • Develop and maintain centralized visibility into major enterprise initiatives and transformation efforts

  • Establish project intake and prioritization methodologies based on strategic alignment, business value, organizational capacity, and risk

  • Identify dependencies, resource constraints, and execution risks across the enterprise portfolio and facilitate resolution

  • Directly lead or provide oversight for complex, high-priority enterprise programs

  • Monitor initiative performance and intervene when projects are at risk of missing strategic, operational, financial, or implementation objectives

  • Facilitate portfolio and governance discussions with executive and senior leadership

  • Provide clear reporting and recommendations regarding initiative health, risks, priorities, and required decisions

  • Partner with change management and functional leaders to support effective implementation and organizational adoption

  • Build consistent project and program management capability across the organization

Qualifications

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Healthcare Administration, Project Management, Operations, or a related field

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in project, program, portfolio management, business transformation, or enterprise operations

  • 3+ years leading complex cross-functional programs, enterprise initiatives, or portfolio management activities

  • Experience partnering directly with executive leadership on strategic prioritization and execution

  • Advanced project, program, and portfolio management skills
  • Strong understanding of enterprise governance, prioritization, and resource planning
  • Ability to create structure and operating discipline in evolving or ambiguous environments
  • Strong executive communication and facilitation skills
  • Ability to objectively assess project health, risk, and organizational capacity
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-support skills
  • Ability to influence across functions without direct authority

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • Master’s degree in business administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field

  • PMP, PgMP, Lean Six Sigma, or comparable

  • Healthcare experience strongly preferred
