Full Job Description
You will be the operational engine and transformation leader for our Consumer and Commercial Data Contributor Services, driving the modernization, intake integrity, and performance of our core data exchanges. Operating at the intersection of regulatory compliance, operational tech evolution, and customer growth, you will lead a high-performing, cross-border workforce of both individual contributors and people leaders across the United States and Costa Rica.

This is a high-visibility leadership role designed for an operational innovator. You will translate enterprise data exchange strategies into seamless operational execution, oversee continuous portfolio ingestion, and evolve traditional workflows into proactive, tech-enabled data control processes. You must be comfortable navigating matrixed corporate structures, leading a workforce through continuous operational transformation, and driving an uncompromising data quality engine in a heavily regulated landscape.

What You'll Do
  • Drive Strategic Operational Modernization: Translate enterprise data exchange strategies into tactical operational plans, serving as the single post-acquisition touch point for integrations across both Consumer and Commercial domains.
  • Lead and Develop Cross-Border Talent: Empower, mentor, and build a geographically diverse team of direct individual contributors and people leaders across the US and Costa Rica. Coach and develop your team to navigate change, adopt new capabilities independently, and build a culture of continuous learning and growth.
  • Exceed Contributor Expectations: Build collaborative, high-trust relationships with internal stakeholders and external data contributors, creating seamless ways of working that establish Equifax as their most trusted partner. Strengthen high-trust relationships with data furnishers and contributors through clear, proactive communication during critical data incidents, translating complex technical issues into simple, actionable updates.
  • Pioneer Process & Automation Enhancements: Partner across technology and business units to shift team practices from reactive troubleshooting to proactive control mechanisms. Continuously generate and test innovative solutions that optimize data pipelines, push past customary practices, and accelerate execution speed.
  • Execute with Urgency and Ownership: Drive the delivery of complex data exchange implementations and portfolio ingestions on time against strict key metrics. Proactively remove operational obstacles, forecast resource needs, and hold teams accountable for high-quality execution.
  • Uphold Uncompromising Regulatory Standards: Serve as a trusted data steward, standing up for compliance and embedding rigorous FCRA, Metro 2, and commercial regulatory standards directly into day-to-day operational workflows.

What Experience You Need
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7+ years of progressive leadership experience within data operations, customer onboarding/delivery, or regulated operations.
  • 5+ years directly managing teams, with proven success leading a blended organization of individual contributors and people leaders.
  • Experience leading or coordinating geographically distributed teams, ideally spanning US and LATAM (Costa Rica) locations within a matrixed corporate structure.
  • Deep expertise in enterprise data ingestion, pipeline quality frameworks, and regulatory reporting standards such as FCRA or Metro 2 guidelines.
  • Proven track record of working closely with data furnishers and contributors to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and onboarding efficiency.
  • Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts and data requirements into clear, simple communications for external customers and stakeholders.
  • Direct experience responding to data operational incidents and effectively managing customer relationships and expectations through incident resolution.

What Could Set You Apart
  • Expertise overseeing both Consumer and Commercial financial data ecosystems simultaneously.
  • Proven track record leading operational teams through large-scale digital, cloud, or AI/ML automation process transformations.
