Consolidation and Enterprise Reporting   approximately 30%

  • Serve as the Company's authoritative source for consolidated financial information.
  • Consolidate actual results, plan and forecast across all business units into a single enterprise and segment view.
  • Reconcile the consolidated financial view to the general ledger and to reported results, working with Accounting through the monthly and quarterly close.
  • Maintain a common set of definitions, mappings and account groupings so that results are comparable across legacy businesses.
  • Deliver variance analysis against plan, forecast and prior year, with written commentary that explains drivers rather than restating results.
  • Develop and maintain the enterprise key performance indicator (KPI) framework and reporting.

Planning, Forecasting and Modeling   approximately 25%

  • Own the annual operating plan, the rolling forecast and the long-range financial model on a consolidated and segment basis.
  • Maintain a single enterprise planning calendar and forecast cadence across all business units.
  • Build and maintain driver-based models linking operational assumptions to financial outcomes, including originations, lease and loan portfolio performance, merchandise margin and store economics.
  • Develop scenario and sensitivity analysis, including downside cases used for covenant and liquidity planning.
  • Partner with segment finance leaders to consolidate business unit submissions and resolve variances to the enterprise view.

Board, Earnings and Executive Presentation   approximately 15%

  • Build the financial sections of the quarterly Board and Audit Committee packages, including the narrative and storyline, not only the underlying analysis.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages for the executive leadership team.
  • Present financial results, forecast, and analysis directly to the executive leadership team and the Board of Directors.
  • Support the quarterly earnings cycle in coordination with Accounting, Investor Relations, and Legal, including guidance modeling, earnings release and script support, and preparation of analyst question and answer materials.

  • Model the financial impact of proposed amendments, refinancings and new facilities.
  • Prepare analysis and materials supporting lender, rating agency, and diligence requests.

Decision Support and Analysis   approximately 10%

  • Provide the analysis supporting capital allocation, including return on invested capital and prioritization of competing uses of cash.
  • Build business cases for growth initiatives, cost reduction programs, real estate decisions, and other significant investments.
  • Track integration progress and synergy realization against plan and report results to the executive team.

Team and Process   approximately 5%

  • Supervise, coach and develop a small team of analysts, setting objectives and managing performance.
  • Establish standards, documentation and controls for consolidation, planning and reporting processes.
  • Support the selection and administration of enterprise planning and reporting tools.
