Full Job Description
Job overview:

Omada is seeking a Senior Director, Clinical Quality to build and lead a department-level clinical quality function with end-to-end accountability for the integrity, performance, and continuous improvement of Omada's clinical programs. This role spans program quality, accreditation, safety, health equity, clinical quality analytics, and the quality infrastructure needed to support current and future cardiometabolic, provider-integrated, and AI-enabled care models.

This leader will translate Omada's future program vision and roadmap into practical systems, governance, monitoring standards, and operating routines that strengthen clinical rigor and improve member outcomes. The role is designed for a senior physician leader who can operate across highly matrixed teams, guide complex decisions, and shape a durable quality operating model for the company.

Your Impact:
  • Lead Omada's Clinical Quality department across program quality, accreditation, safety, health equity, and clinical quality analytics.
  • Own the operational effectiveness of Omada's clinical quality infrastructure and the quality performance of core programs, including program-level outcomes.
  • Define and drive the near-term roadmap for program quality, Clinical Quality & Outcomes Committee (CQOC) priorities, accreditation readiness, quality analytics, and AI bias monitoring.
  • Translate strategic and emerging priorities into clear quality systems, ownership structures, monitoring standards, and improvement plans.
  • Serve as the senior leader accountable for the integrity and performance of Omada's clinical program model across products and care experiences.
  • Ensure programs are clinically coherent, evidence-based, measurable, aligned to client and member expectations, and improving over time.
  • Build durable quality infrastructure that goes beyond governance committees and retrospective review to support a growing portfolio of clinical products and care experiences.
  • Partner closely across Care Delivery, Product, Engineering, Commercial, Compliance, Legal/Regulatory, Data Analytics, and Applied AI leaders to solve cross-functional problems and strengthen Omada's clinical quality operating system.
  • Help shape the clinical quality components of Omada's co-intelligence engine, including the data foundation and knowledge layers needed to better understand member trajectories, behavior change readiness, treatment adherence, biomarker trends, and signals of underperformance.
  • Advance proactive quality capabilities over time, including predictive risk identification, smarter personalization of interventions, more precise experimentation, and faster scaling of what works.
  • Oversee clinical quality governance for AI-enabled products, workflows, and decision-support tools, including monitoring for quality, bias, safety, transparency, and performance.
  • Lead and develop future program-level clinical owners and subject matter experts (SMEs) across cardiometabolic programs including obesity, weight management, GLP-1, diabetes, hypertension, and cholesterol programs.
  • Represent Omada's clinical quality strategy and standards with external stakeholders, including clients, employer and health plan partners, accrediting bodies, and other strategic audiences, while helping strengthen market credibility, support commercial conversations, and translate clinical rigor into external trust and growth opportunities.

About you:
  • MD or DO with active clinical licensure.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience aligned to Senior Director-level scope and expectations.
  • Deep experience in clinical quality, quality improvement, and program design within healthcare delivery, virtual care, or digital health environments.
  • Strong ability to evaluate and improve care models, member clinical care, provider and care team quality, clinical content, and safety implications.
  • Previous management of clinical quality, accreditations, and data analytics functions.
  • Demonstrated success building systems, functions, or operating models across multiple teams and diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience working across clinical operations, product development, data analytics, and emerging technologies, including AI-enabled workflows or clinical decision support.
  • Strong executive presence with the credibility to influence senior leaders on matters involving program integrity, risk, and strategic direction.
  • Ability to convert abstract, multi-year strategy into practical near-term priorities, governance processes, staffing approaches, and operating routines.
  • Comfort operating in a highly matrixed environment and partnering across clinical, operational, product, legal, compliance, and technical teams.
  • A leadership style that combines clinical rigor, systems thinking, sound judgment, and a strong orientation toward execution.
  • Passionate about creating a more efficient, effective, and equitable U.S. healthcare system.

Bonus Points for:
  • Experience with NCQA population health program accreditation, ADCES, URAC, and/or other quality accreditation work (ideally at least one of the above mentioned)
  • Program Management training or certification (PMP, Lean Six Sigma, IHI Quality Improvement or similar)
  • Experience defining data requirements, analyzing data, and translating trends and findings into actionable recommendations
  • Digital health industry, health plan, and/or employer benefits experience
  • Additional background or interest in healthcare AI, clinical informatics, data science or telemedicine

Benefits:
  • Competitive salary with generous annual cash bonus
  • Equity grants
  • Remote first work from home culture
  • Flexible Time Off to help you rest, recharge, and connect with loved ones
