JOB DESCRIPTION
The Senior Director, Business Transformation – Lean will be responsible for being a key leader in Lean transformation across the enterprise by developing and deploying a Lean Business System with standards and tools to improve operational performance.The successful candidate will create the Lean strategy to scale across all regions that includes VSM planning, installing Tiered DMS, Problem Solving Process, and Lean Training curriculum that drive operational improvements and achieves annual cost targets.
The Senior Director will drive process excellence rigor in operations and transactional areas including all regions while working closely with key functional teams to develop actionable roadmaps to increase efficiency and business processes. The ideal candidate will have deep experience working in operations and transactional processes from various industries while applying lean manufacturing, and change management methods, to transform the organization as an engaging continuous improvement culture.
This position must be located (hybrid) at one of Quest’s major locations/hubs.These include Secaucus, NJ (Corporate HQ); Clifton, NJ; Marlborough, MA; Tampa, FL; Irving, TX; Chantilly, VA; or Wood Dale, IL.
Pay Range: $200,000 - $250,000/year + 25% Annual Incentive Plan + Long-Term Incentive
Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the development and sustainability of a Lean Business System that is process based with data-analytics and defined rigor of Standard Work, DMS, Problem Solving Process.
Engage with senior leadership and operational teams to adopt Lean Business System standards to identify process improvements with actionable roadmaps that improve business performance focusing on productivity and margin expansion.
Coordinate with other Business Transformation leaders to execute on a portfolio of complex strategic projects/Kaizen events through all stages of charter, prework, implementation, and post-event sustainment.
Drive cultural transformation by promoting problem solving and empowering employee ownership of their roles in continuous improvement.
Lead and/or coach teams in problem solving techniques (PSP, A3, PDCA, 8-D) to develop a sustaining culture of continuous improvement.
Lead, coach, facilitate, teams in Customer VOC based Value Stream Map activities to improve business value applying the Lean toolkit of standard work, visual management, DMS, 5S, SMED, kanban, mistake proofing, TPM, etc.
Lead the development of foundational lean training and tools, using adult learning principles, that are scalable across the enterprise.
Lead a team of Lean/CI professionals to prioritize annual objectives to deliver on business metrics, cost targets, while developing a culture of lean thinking.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements as well as internal standards for safety, quality, and environmental sustainability.
The Senior Director will manage a team of 3-5 direct reports.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience, is required. An MBA is preferred.
A minimum of 10 years of operational leadership directly deploying Lean methodologies across a large regional or global organization.
Proven experience designing & installing a Lean Business System in a well-established continuous improvement organization and successfully managing multi-million-dollar budgets.
Deep knowledge & experience applying Lean methodologies in various operational environments and provides real operational Lean examples from industry.
Demonstrated Lean leadership at leading multiple Kaizen events to achieve operational results.
Direct experience working with Toyota Production System, Danaher Business System, and/or Shingijutsu Kaizen.
The ability to diagnose current business processes, then articulate an ideal target condition, using Lean/Kata coaching methods.
Prior successful experience applying continuous flow using principles of Takt time, standard work, and single piece flow.
The ability to accurately assess business performance from a general manager’s perspective and provide insights to drive improvement.
Must be able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Exceptional communication skills with multiple levels of the organization.
Plan and lead communication planning and change management methods.
The ability to travel 25-50%.
