Job Description:

The Senior Director of Strategy, Consulting & Advisory is a trusted leader who guides all cross-functional projects with an emphasis on Customer Marketing Data, Strategy, & Analytics solutions. They provide key insights through data analysis to inform strategic planning and initiative prioritization. This role sets the standard for how strategic marketing plans, data, and technology come together to drive measurable growth.

Responsibilities
  • Lead strategic planning and initiative prioritization
  • Independently develop long-term roadmaps and use cases for workstreams to execute against
  • Recommend insights-to-action for strategic and long-term planning leveraging value-based measurement across client marketing leads to drive data-enriched activation
  • Identify opportunities for cross-solutioning within client's ecosystem to drive incremental value
  • Teach, coach and train direct and indirect reports on how to best identify and execute the solutions driven through data, analytics, and technology available to support the strategic plans for the organization
  • Collaborate with SMEs to identify white space opportunities to curate and develop solutions that are well thought through and are client and customer centric
  • Ability to connect capability challenges or goals to business needs and build compelling stories to articulate incremental value
  • Hands-on ability to create and support executive level presentations and analyses of analytic, data and identity solutions to support client needs
  • Independently lead the development and drive the execution of actionable multi-phased / year measurement, technology, analytic or data roadmaps for clients
  • Ability to translate data/results into clear narratives for tech and non-tech audiences across different communication channels, i.e. ppt, email etc.
  • Provide thought leadership through articles, blogs, event and other marketing avenues to guide innovative and cutting-edge application of analytics and data solutions
  • Assess market trends and incorporate external insights to recommend potential product and market level opportunities for client growth.
  • Develop depth and breadth of understanding of solutions and offerings across company
  • Actively engage with client to be integrated in the business, understanding and developing recommendations for strategic business growth and optimization
  • Partner with client to develop use cases for activation across brand market segment teams
  • Align with Analytics, Marketing, and Media partners on marketing and measurement plans to support activation efforts
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to drive integrated process for the utilization and advancement of data and analytics
  • Lead matrixed teams through influence, collaboration and coaching


Required experience
  • 15+ years in analytics, business consulting, data strategy and or strategic planning functions
  • 8+ years of cross-team leadership over multiple business and strategic disciplines
  • Experience across both agency and corporate environments
  • Experience guiding and planning work products from technical and strategic teams
  • Translation of ML/AI models and analytic projects to tactical and executional business action
  • Corporate Retail Experience preferred
  • Executive-level written and verbal communication
  • Strong active-listening skills, with ability to discern client needs
  • Proven people-management skills: coaching, developing, and holding managers accountable to clear success criteria.
  • Expert-level at PowerPoint
  • Confident with building interactive roadmaps and program plans to drive strategic growth
  • High emotional intelligence, with sound judgment to navigate organizational and relationship dynamics across client and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to leverage data and insights for story-telling and solution application
  • Ability to translate ambiguous requests and requirements into tangible and tactical solutions
  • Ability to explain complex analytic, technical and data solutions in simplified language for non-technical partners
  • Ability to manage both client and agency teams to facilitate timely and actionable solutions
  • Ability to identify and apply technology enablers to drive CXM use cases
  • Ability to develop actionable use cases for business growth - prioritizing based on technology and data enablers and business goals
  • High business acumen and the ability to connect business challenges analytic and data led solutions
  • Understanding of broad spectrum of analytic tools, solutions and technologies and their application to business action


The annual base salary range for this position is $136,000-$224,910. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law. Additionally, this position is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation.

Regardless of your work location, we expect our employees to be flexible to meet the needs of our Company and clients, which may include attendance in an office.
