Senior Director, Business Analysis and Strategy (Marketing & Messaging Delivery)
As a Senior Director, Business Analysis and Strategy, you will serve as the primary thought partner to the MVP of Product and Operations, spanning a number of critical platforms, in addition to the marketing operations organization.

What you will own:
Strategy & Execution:Defining the long-term and tactical roadmap for the enterprise product ecosystem, ensuring alignment with P&L goals and customer-facing excellence. This role will also drive our operational transformation and be a key contributor to how we define the marketer experience and role of the marketer across the company.
Horizontal Initiatives:Leading cross-functional workstreams that bridge Product, Tech, and Business units to drive operational efficiency and ensure high-stakes initiatives stay on track.
Business Model Innovation: Identifying opportunities for structural transformation and designing the "rhythm of the business" to drive alignment across the senior leadership team.
General Responsibilities:
Strategic leadership:Develop enterprise strategies that drive growth, profitability, and competitive success in the face of shifting market and regulatory demands.
Product Transformation: Implement new product strategies and enterprise-wide capabilities; lead P&L-focused data modeling and analytics.
Operational Transformation:Develop and partner broadly across functions, including Brand, LOB, and marketing operations to define future operating model and organizational impacts of strategy.
Execution: Manage and sequence delivery of business intent and execute against the transformation strategy. Oversee complex programs concurrently.
Partnership: Work closely with colleagues across Capital One including: IT, Operations, Finance and others to drive improvement in quality, volume, service, and profitability

Management Consulting: Successful track record in top-tier strategy consulting or a high-growth corporate strategy environment.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
At least 5 years of experience performing quantitative analysis
At least 5 years of experience performing qualitative analysis
At least 3 years of experience performing people management
At least 3 years of experience performing project management
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s Degree
5+ years of experience in people management
3+ years of experience in product development
3+ years of experience in financial modeling
3+ years of experience in economic forecasting

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $269,600 - $307,700 for Sr Business DirectorNew York, NY: $294,100 - $335,700 for Sr Business Director
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
