How you'll make an impact:

We are seeking a strategic thought leader and results-driven Senior Director of Brand Marketing to lead the evolution of the SiriusXM brand. In this high-impact role, you will define how our brand shows up in the world, how it drives emotional connection, cultural relevance, and long-term subscriber growth. You will oversee brand strategy, 360° integrated marketing campaigns, creative execution, and media planning across all consumer touchpoints. Leading a talented, high-performing team, you will bridge the gap between best-in-class brand creative and rigorous, data-driven performance. You will lead the Brand Marketing sub-function across multiple teams, setting long-range priorities and aligning department objectives to functional strategy. You will partner with senior and executive leadership on critical brand decisions with multi-year impact across the company.

What you'll do:

The ideal candidate is equal parts - Brand Strategist, Marketer, channel planner and analyst.

They will be responsible for supporting all efforts across brand marketing, including:

Brand Strategy & Stewardship
  • Evolve and scale SiriusXM's brand identity, positioning, and messaging architecture across all consumer touchpoints.
  • Conduct ongoing market, competitive, and consumer research to identify insights that shape impactful brand strategies.
  • Author high-impact strategy decks and business cases to clearly communicate brand direction, launch plans, and ROI to leadership and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure absolute consistency in brand voice, visual identity, and values across every department.
  • Set a multi-year Brand Marketing strategy and translate functional priorities into objectives, policies, and operating plans for multiple teams.
  • Develop and authorize brand governance standards and implementation practices that guide how the brand is expressed across the organization.


Creative Direction & Campaigns
  • Oversee the ideation, production, and execution of breakthrough, multi-channel brand campaigns across paid, owned and earned.
  • Champion creative excellence, pushing boundaries to create memorable, cultural, and industry-defining work.
  • Direct investment priorities across brand campaigns, agencies, production, and media; ensure budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements.


Leadership & Team Growth
  • Lead and develop the Brand Marketing organization through managers and senior managers with accountability for multiple teams and areas of work.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture that values new ideas, creative experimentation, and accountability.
  • Devote time to developing future leaders, strengthening succession readiness, and coaching managers to build high-performing teams.


Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner closely with programming, events, dealership and business teams to seamlessly integrate brand narrative into performance campaigns, product launches, and audience funnels.
  • Collaborate with Internal Communications and HR to ensure the employer brand aligns authentically with the external corporate brand.
  • Influence senior and executive leaders on critical brand matters, gaining alignment on long-range priorities, policies, and cross-functional decisions.


Measurement & Analytics
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for brand health, including brand awareness, consideration and listening metrics.
  • Translate brand data and performance metrics into actionable insights for leadership and cross functional partners.
  • Use brand, consumer, competitive, and business signals to anticipate emerging issues and set frameworks for decisions with long-term impact.


What you'll need:
  • Bachelor's degree with focus on marketing or related field, or equivalent, relevant experience.
  • Typically has 12 or more years of experience with 6 or more years of management experience.
  • Leadership Skills: You're a people manager who has experience leading teams. You're someone that has a clear vision and strategy for your org. You know how to effectively communicate department goals to your team, as well as motivate and support your people in meeting those objectives. You always put your people first - you listen, inspire and coach.
  • Entrepreneurial: You're a self-starter who gets excited at the chance to run initiatives end-to-end with full ownership and autonomy. You have no problem getting down in the weeds but can also pivot to be strategic and provide thought leadership support.
  • Results-Oriented: You are someone that drives outcomes with a demonstrated track record for improving results in business performance. You take a focused approach towards action and rapid testing. You know how to extract learnings from both wins and losses.
  • Analytical & Intensely Curious: You have a strong aptitude for data and reporting. You are familiar with and embrace tools of the trade including Tableau or similar BI platforms (i.e. Adobe reporting, Google Analytics, etc.). You are constantly analyzing all available data. You're always building a roadmap of hypotheses and experiments to test to improve results for the business.
  • You're a Facilitator: You are acutely aware of all the moving pieces necessary to build campaigns and can collaborate with other groups to execute.
  • You have a creative streak: A keen eye for top performing creative and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders and design and copywriting teams to develop best in class creative executions.
  • Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills, public speaking, presentation skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrate excellent attention to detail, time management skills, and an ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a highly fluid, fast-paced environment.
  • Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.


At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $146,600 to $202,800 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
