About You

We're looking for someone who has:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 10+ years of experience as a CAD technician, developing design documents in Revit for mechanical projects, performing design tasks using 3D surfaces, and developing 3D facilities particularly water/wastewater facilities
  • Familiarity with water/wastewater specific design components such as pumps, valves, piping, and treatment equipment.
  • Extremely proficient in Revit version 2024 or higher.
  • Experience in Autodesk Construction Cloud, ProjectWise, Civil 3D, Plant 3D, and Bluebeam is a bonus.
  • Excellent organizational, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Effective interpersonal skills for interaction with colleagues, clients, and public agency officials.
  • Ability to perform assigned responsibilities with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of construction documents, civil/construction design processes, and building systems.


About the Role

As a Revit Designer, you will:

  • Use Revit to develop mechanical process 3D models of water/wastewater facilities with consideration for constructability and design standards with minimal oversight.
  • Use Revit to execute mechanical process design tasks using 3D surfaces with minimal oversight.
  • Set up and develop design sheets, including plans, profiles, and details, in accordance with applicable drawing standards and templates.
  • Communicate proactively with the design team, clients, and external consultants to resolve design challenges and technical questions, clarify work product expectations and standards, and produce consistent, high-quality deliverables as a team.
  • Work with the design team to resolve comments on design documents from the project team and the client.
  • Ability to coordinate mechanical process design in Revit with other disciplines working in the same 3D model including structural, architectural, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and instrumentation and control.
