Position Summary...What you'll do...Senior Designer, Fashion- Elevated BrandsLocation: NYC As a Senior Designer for Elevated Brands at Walmart, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the creative vision and execution of our premium private brand collections. Reporting to the Design Director, you will lead the design process from concept through production, driving innovation, sophistication, and brand storytelling across multiple apparel categories. Your expertise will ensure our elevated brands set new standards in the market and resonate with discerning customers.
Key Responsibilities: - Serve as the category expert for elevated brands, bringing a refined, trend-forward perspective to a dynamic retail environment.
- Drive the creative direction for multiple apparel categories, overseeing print, color, key items, fabrications, and advanced techniques that reflect the elevated brand ethos.
- Collaborate closely with Design leadership to translate elevated concepts into compelling, brand-right product lines, ensuring alignment from initial vision through to final execution.
- Communicate design intent through sophisticated digital mood boards, development decks, and inspirational materials tailored for elevated brands.
- Develop and execute seasonal color palettes and fabric stories that embody the elevated positioning of the brand.
- Demonstrate advanced organizational skills, attention to detail, and clear communication across all stages of the design process.
- Manage and adhere to a complex, multi-category calendar with overlapping seasonal deadlines, ensuring timely delivery of elevated collections.
- Design and develop products that align with line plans, sales objectives, and emerging market trends, while upholding the elevated brand standard.
- Deliver industry-leading styles that reflect Walmart's elevated design ethos and meet the evolving needs of our customers.
- Champion proactive, daily communication and seamless collaboration with internal teams-including Design leadership, Product Development, and Merchandising-as well as external partners and suppliers.
- Cultivate and sustain robust, strategic relationships with both domestic and international suppliers, with a focus on premium materials and craftsmanship.
- Take a leadership role in vendor communications, ensuring clear expectations, timely follow-up, and effective issue resolution to drive business objectives.
- Lead and support the co-create process through collaborative discussions and product reviews, balancing aesthetics, function, and cost for elevated brands.
- Champion sustainability efforts in 3D design, material innovation, and sample management within the elevated brands portfolio.
- Exhibit resourcefulness, autonomy, and the ability to mentor junior designers, fostering a culture of creativity and excellence.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator; experience with AI, Miro, and 3D design tools is a plus.

The annual salary range for this position is $132,000.00 - $264,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
