Pratt & Whitney's Cold Section Engineering Support to Operations (CSE ESTO) organization is looking for a self-motivated and detail-focused
Senior Design Engineer. In this role, you will be supporting the analysis and production of rotating hardware for commercial engines.
What You Will Do: - Execute and oversee day-to-day activities for production support, quality issues, supplier transitions, and Class 2 Engineering Changes for rotating hardware.
- Identify areas of waste within the production support process. Continue to challenge current processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide technical support and analysis for production investigations.
- Capture ESTO lessons learned. Drive continuous improvement into the product development cycle.
- Travel Requirement: 10% (Domestic and International).

Qualifications You Must Have: - A Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering and 5 years of Engineering experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and 3 years of Engineering experience.
Qualifications We Prefer: - Advanced Engineering degree.
- Experience working in the Aerospace Industry in a manufacturing environment.
- Previous Design or Manufacturing experience.
- Working proficiency with MS Office, Teamcenter, SAP, Siemens NX.

Engineering Support to Operations (ESTO): ESTO provides dedicated support by eliminating quality notifications, escapes, works stops and enabling producibility and delivery of legacy and new parts, assemblies, modules, and engines. ESTO covers all engine programs and part families, enabling engine deliveries, first piece reviews, first article inspections, analysis automation, process certification. ESTO also supports the Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) initiative in Operations. Technical disciplines in ESTO include Project Engineering, Mechanical Design, Structural Analysis, Product Definition, and Manufacturing Engineering.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
