We are currently seeking a Senior Database Administrator to join our dynamic team in Atlantic City, NJ

Job Description - Objectstream, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Database Administrator to play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability. The Senior Database Administrator will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the company's technical needs and contribute to the evolution of our architecture.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Strong experience in design, implementation, and maintaining secure, high-performance relational and non-relational databases.
  • Design, implement, and maintain secure, high-performance relational and non-relational databases.
  • Implement HA/DR features such as replication, clustering, geo-redundancy, and automated failover.
  • Conduct backup and recovery testing to validate disaster recovery procedures.
  • Optimize performance through query tuning and capacity planning while ensuring resilience to outages.
  • Develop technical documentation for failover procedures, recovery point objectives (RPO), and recovery time objectives (RTO).
  • Perform data migration and restoration testing to validate reliability during DR events.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or Science.
  • Proven experience with administrating high-performance Oracle 19c and higher databases.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with customers and fulfill all duties and responsibilities as listed in the contract.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including, but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
  • Must have experience with data and analysis technologies.
