  • Design and implement automated, cloud-native database solutions utilizing DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and infrastructure-as-code principles.
  • Perform rapid fault management and proactive trend analysis to minimize outage times and meet departmental service level objectives.
  • Lead multiple complex database migration and infrastructure projects simultaneously while mentoring junior team members to uplift overall engineering capabilities.
  • Adhere strictly to change management policies while ensuring comprehensive, up-to-date documentation for all data center systems.
  • Leverage generative AI tools to automate SQL tuning, optimize database schema performance, and streamline routine database administration scripting.

  • Critical experience in managing configuration management tools such as SALT, Chef, Puppet, or Ansible to automate database deployments.
  • The ability to analyze and interpret complex performance data to identify trends and mitigate potential issues before they impact customers.
  • Strong professional communication and collaboration skills to work seamlessly across teams and guide junior database engineers.
  • AI literacy and application skills, specifically the ability to utilize AI assistants to write, debug, and optimize database scripts and automation workflows.

Additional Qualifications
  • Database administration certifications

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience
