Position Summary...

What you'll do...

The Senior Data Scientist designs, builds, and deploys machine learning and agentic AI solutions that drive measurable business outcomes. This role partners with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to translate ambiguous problems into scalable data products, leveraging modern ML techniques (supervised/unsupervised learning, NLP/LLMs, forecasting, and optimization) and agentic patterns (tool use, planning, multi-step reasoning, and workflow orchestration). The Senior Data Scientist is accountable for end-to-end model development-from data exploration and feature engineering to evaluation, productionization, monitoring, and continuous improvement-while ensuring responsible, secure, and reliable AI practices.

Key strengths include strong statistical and ML foundations, hands-on experience with LLMs and agent frameworks, building robust data pipelines, and applying MLOps best practices (CI/CD, model registry, observability, drift detection, and retraining). The role requires excellent communication skills to explain model behavior, tradeoffs, and impact to technical and non-technical audiences, and the ability to mentor peers while influencing technical direction across teams.

Define and finalize features based on model responses and introduces new or revised features to enhance the analysis and outcomes Identify the dimensions of the experiment finalize the design test hypotheses and conduct the experiment Perform trend and cluster analysis on data to answer practical business problems and provide recommendations and key insights to the business Mentor and guide junior associates on basic modeling and analytics techniques to solve complex problems
Demonstrates uptodate expertise and applies this to the development execution and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs and building commitment for perspectives and rationales
Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders identifying business needs determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices monitoring progress and results recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities and adapting to competing demands organizational changes and new responsibilities
Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission values and standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans using the Open Door Policy and demonstrating and assisting others with how to apply these in executing business processes and practices

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
