Senior Data Manager

Are you ready to lean into analytic approaches that show customers the power of both technical and methodological innovation? Join our growing team supporting customer missions as a Senior Data Manager in Springfield, VA or St. Louis, MO.

Responsibilities

This is a team lead role managing a group of data operations professionals on an overhead imagery processing program. You will own the technical and managerial oversight of the preprocessing data pipeline from satellite data acquisition through ingest and storage, and serve as the main point of contact between your team and the government customer. If you have managed technical teams in a data-heavy IC environment and know how to keep complex pipelines running at scale, we want to talk. 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:   

  • Active TS/SCI clearance 
  • 3+ years of people management experience (team lead, project lead) with the communication skills to hold a team accountable and keep government customers informed 
  • Strong track record managing technical projects from start to finish without hand-holding 
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with quantitative analysis, ETL processes, and SQL/NoSQL databases 
  • Demonstrated experience building and managing data pipelines 
  • 2+ years working with large geospatial datasets and associated file formats 
  • Working knowledge of cloud architectures 

Desired Qualifications:  

  • Agile/SAFe methodology experience 
  • GEOINT Professional Certification Fundamentals (F) 
  • Experience with AI/ML applied to geospatial data

  • The expected salary range within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: $150,000-$175,000. Final compensation is unique to each individual and will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, geographic location, and contractual requirements. This is not a guarantee.
