What We Are Looking For

We're seeking a Senior Data Governance Lead to support a major enterprise-level Collibra implementation. This role will lead front-line engagement with U.S.-based business and technology teams-capturing requirements, aligning business rules, and ensuring governance workflows are executed with accuracy and speed.

This is a senior delivery position within a hybrid onshore/offshore model. You'll own execution across Collibra Data Quality and metadata streams and play a central role in stakeholder alignment and delivery assurance.

What You Will Be Doing

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of Collibra-based data governance workstreams.
• Engage directly with SMEs, data owners, and stewards to capture requirements and define data rules.
• Translate business concepts into Collibra DQ rules, metadata models, CDE tagging, and lineage logic.
• Direct offshore Collibra Specialists on configuration, testing, and deployment.
• Ensure delivery alignment with program governance, milestones, issue logs, and reporting cadence.
• Work closely with the Program SME and Delivery Manager to maintain standards and velocity.

What You Will Need

• 5+ years' experience in data governance within enterprise environments.
• Proven hands-on Collibra experience: DQ rule writing, metadata onboarding, and workflow configuration.
• Strong understanding of data quality frameworks, lineage, and regulatory data governance.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to engage business and technical stakeholders.
• Experience operating in global delivery teams, including offshore coordination.

Nice to Have

• Collibra Ranger certification or equivalent technical delivery capability.
• Familiarity with financial regulatory frameworks (e.g., BCBS 239, CCAR, GDPR).
• Knowledge of modern cloud data platforms (Snowflake, AWS, GCP, etc.).
