As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be tasked with designing and implementing robust data solutions that support scalable analytics and data-driven decision-making across the company. You will be instrumental in maintaining the tools and technologies that form the backbone of our data capabilities. This role requires a proactive person motivated to build an efficient, scalable, and secure data ecosystem. You will collaborate with and have solid cross-functional partnerships with all teams, from Engineering to Analytics to Finance. We use tools like Dagster and dbt to orchestrate data pipelines and define workflows between Planetscale, Tinybird, and Snowflake.
Responsibilities: - Lead the design and development of robust data pipelines to ingest, aggregate, and index diverse data sources into our organization's data warehouse.
- Spearhead the development of a cutting-edge data warehousing platform, ensuring it meets SOC2 security and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate closely with data analytics to ensure the data platform effectively supports reporting and analyzing key business metrics.
- Partner with the data science and machine learning team to build scalable capabilities for insight generation and leveraging LLMs.
- Mentor and coach engineers on the data team, fostering a culture of data excellence and innovation throughout the organization.
Requirements:- 4+ years of experience architecting and implementing large-scale enterprise data solutions.
- 2+ years of proficient experience in modern data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, and Redshift, with a strong understanding of their architectural principles.
- 2+ years of demonstrated expertise in designing and optimizing high-volume, real-time, and batch ETL pipelines.
- 1+ years of experience in coaching and mentoring team members to foster professional growth and development, focusing on cultivating a growth mindset through constructive feedback and support.

- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with a demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

- Advanced degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field or relevant industry industry experience
What You'll Receive:- The competitive base pay for this position ranges from 175,000- 220,000 usd. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Runpod and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate's experience, qualifications, and location
