Full Job Description
The Sr. Data Architect provides cross domain leadership for TTI's enterprise data architecture across AWS cloud data platforms. This role designs authoritative data models, establishes platform wide data patterns, and ensures data quality, governance, and performance across analytical, operational, and integration workloads. The architect partners with data engineering, cybersecurity, application, integration, and cloud platform teams to ensure scalable, secure, and reliable enterprise data ecosystems.

Our Senior Data Architect:

  • Own and maintain enterprise conceptual, logical, and physical data models for core domains.
  • Lead architecture for key data platforms (AWS Glue, Redshift, Lambda, EMR, Lake Formation, DynamoDB).
  • Establish data standards, taxonomy, naming conventions, governance rules, retention policies, and lineage frameworks.
  • Partner with cybersecurity to design identity, access control, audit logging, and encryption strategies for data platforms.
  • Define patterns for real time, batch, and event streaming integrations (Kinesis, Kafka, Event-Bridge).
  • Oversee architecture of analytical ecosystems supporting BI, machine learning, and reporting platforms.
  • Guide platform engineering on automation, IaC standards, CI/CD, and data pipeline observability.
  • Collaborate with application/integration teams to ensure enterprise data consistency across systems.
  • Lead architecture reviews and approve designs for large programs and enterprise data initiatives.
  • Mentor junior data architects and engineers; contribute to building TTI's data architecture practice.
  • Evaluate emerging AWS analytics/services and recommend adoption strategies.


Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or Engineering with 7-10+ years of IT experience, including 3-5+ years in data architecture or senior data engineering roles is preferred.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
