Full Job Description
Role Summary:

Community Stabilization Partners (CSP) is a joint venture between The Community Preservation Corporation (CPC) and Related Fund Management (RFM), formed to asset-manage a portfolio of commercial residential real estate loans formerly held by Signature Bank. In partnership with the FDIC, CSP serves as lender of record for approximately 830 loans secured by more than 30,000 housing units.

The Senior Data & Analytics Specialist is responsible for refining CSP's data and reporting operating model and for delivering portfolio-wide analysis and reports. Acting as both a data strategist and a hands-on implementation leader, this position works closely with CSP business leaders and CPC Technology to translate business workflows into data infrastructure, performance metrics, and automated reporting tools.

What You'll Do:
  • Data Strategy and Implementation
    • Develop a comprehensive understanding of CSP workflows, data architecture, key performance indicators (KPIs) and NYC open data sources.
    • Partner with business units to assess evolving data, technology, and reporting needs. Identify process gaps, inconsistencies, and inefficiencies.
    • Partner with CPC Technology to improve CSP data architecture and strategies in alignment with other CPC Technology initiatives.
    • Monitor and help refine CSP's end-to-end data architecture and strategy, including data collection, validation and reporting.
  • Portfolio Analytics, Reporting and Decision Support
    • Design and deliver routine executive, management and operational reports.
    • Analyze real estate pro formas, financial data, portfolio trends and performance drivers to support transaction and portfolio level decision-making; communicate insights clearly to stakeholders.
    • Conduct ad hoc analyses to support strategic, operational, regulatory, and partner-driven requests.
  • Collaboration and Implementation
    • Operationalize new data and technology solutions within business units, through creation of standard operating procedures and staff training.
    • Serve as a primary liaison between CSP business units and CPC Technology, translating business needs into clear technical and analytical requirements.
    • Partner with CPC Technology to support system integration and reporting infrastructure enhancements.
    • Coordinate with third-party data providers and external consultants to support analytical and reporting initiatives.

Skills and Experience:
  • Master's degree in Real Estate Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate analytics, data management, or a data analyst role, with demonstrated experience preparing real estate finance and analytical reports.
  • Strong understanding of commercial real estate terminology, proformas and metrics preferred. Familiarity with NYC market, regulatory framework and public data is a plus.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to lead collaboration across diverse business units and stakeholders.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively across levels of leadership.
  • Highly self-motivated, with the ability to work independently as a resourceful problem-solver.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) required.
  • Experience with programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R) strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with machine learning and data-mining techniques is a plus.
