Job Description:As a Senior Curriculum Specialist, you will spearhead the design and development of our PreK-5 English Language Development (ELD) content. Serving as a strategic partner within our highly collaborative team, you will help lead the creation of rigorous, high-quality ELD instructional materials, drive ELD standards alignment across our core programs, and serve as the team's subject-matter expert on English Learner (EL) instruction. This role synthesizes curriculum strategy, ELD-specific content design, and hands-on content development to deliver impactful learning experiences for multilingual learners across multiple grade levels.
You Will...- Contribute to Curriculum Strategy and Development
- Independently manage curriculum development for ELD-related content across our core curriculum programs, including establishing quality expectations for instructional materials. Contribute to strategic planning.
- Apply and deepen Amplify's pedagogical design to produce high-quality ELD content across grade levels.
- Actively shape curriculum strategy and planning within your area of ELD expertise, bringing informed perspectives and recommendations that strengthen the team's approach.
- Serve as the subject-matter expert on PreK-5 ELD for customer-facing teams, responding to questions about instructional approach, standards alignment, and product design.
- Support RFP responses by providing accurate, compelling ELD-specific content and language.
- Maintain Quality Assurance
- Apply guidelines and quality expectations with a critical eye, identifying gaps or inconsistencies in your own work and the work of the team.
- Provide informed quality feedback to teammates and contribute suggestions for refining authoring and quality guidelines, particularly as they relate to ELD content.

- Thoughtfully evaluate and recommend when and how technology best serves ELD content instruction, including internalizing and applying feedback from customers.

What we're looking for...- Demonstrated expertise in English Language development (ELD) / English Learner (EL) instruction, including familiarity with ELD/ELP standards (e.g., WIDA and state-specific frameworks) and instructional design for multilingual learners.
- 5+ years of educational experience with substantial curriculum development expertise
- 3+ years of direct curriculum design and content creation experience, including leading content projects and mentoring junior team members.
- Experience planning and independently leading medium-scale curriculum development projects across multiple grades, reviewing content, and providing constructive feedback on content created by teammates is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, TESOL/Bilingual Education, or related field required. Advanced degree preferred.
