The Role: Senior Counsel, Construction
As Senior Counsel, Construction, you will support the development and delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects, including hyperscale data center campuses. This role exists to ensure construction agreements are structured, negotiated, and executed with clear risk allocation and alignment to business objectives.

You will advise cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle, from early development through construction and delivery, helping manage risk, maintain schedule integrity, and support scalable project execution.
What You'll Do
  • Draft and negotiate complex construction agreements, including Design-Build, EPC, CM/GC, and Architect/Engineer contracts.
  • Advise project teams on contract interpretation, change orders, and risk mitigation during construction.
  • Support claims prevention and resolution related to schedule, cost, and scope changes.
  • Partner with Development, Construction, Network Operations, Procurement, and Finance teams across multiple projects.
  • Counsel stakeholders on permitting, zoning, and regulatory requirements affecting project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain contract templates, negotiation playbooks, and approval workflows.
  • Support related real estate transactions, including land acquisitions, leases, and development agreements.
What We're Looking For
  • You apply sound legal judgment to complex construction and infrastructure matters.
  • You communicate clearly with technical, operational, and executive stakeholders.
  • You balance legal risk with business priorities.
  • You manage multiple matters independently and meet deadlines.
  • You collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • You focus on practical solutions, not theoretical risk.
What You'll Bring
Required:
  • J.D. and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • 5+ years of experience advising on construction or infrastructure development contracts.
  • Experience negotiating EPC, Design-Build, or CM/GC agreements.
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage legal matters independently.

Preferred:
  • Experience supporting data center, energy, or industrial infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with AIA or ConsensusDocs contract frameworks.
  • Experience with commercial real estate transactions, including land acquisitions and leases.

We encourage you to apply even if you do not meet every preferred qualification.
