About The Role:

As a CBRE Sr. Corporate Communications Manager, you will lead the development and delivery of high-profile internal communication materials for the Global Governance function, driving strategic communications and campaigns that support key business priorities and enhance employee engagement. As one of the primary consultants/advisors to department leaders, you will shape strategic messaging, develop compelling content across channels and use analytics to measure and improve outcomes. This role operates with a high degree of independence and is part of the Corporate Communications job function, which drives messaging related to CBRE's values, strategy and performance.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching.
  • Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.
  • Create and deliver strategic messaging and content across a variety of internal communications channels. This includes executive communications, articles, newsletters and related materials.
  • Direct all communication-related materials and create multi-channel communication plans.
  • Drive the development of metrics and reporting. Track content engagement and report on analytics.
  • Guide the delivery of targeted and global communications plans and programming aligned to business and internal department goals.
  • Use a strong understanding of the business and your communication expertise to collaborate across teams and meet goals.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
  • Identify and solve technical and operational problems of complexity.
  • Understand and recognize the broader impact across the department.
  • Improve and change existing methods, processes and standards within the job discipline.

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5 - 8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.
  • Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
  • Leadership skills to motivate the team to achieve broad operational targets with impacts on own job discipline, multiple job disciplines, and department.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Working knowledge of SharePoint.
  • Extensive organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset
