Position:

Compensation:
  • $80,000 - $100,000 (Based on Qualifications & Experience)

*This position is an on-site position in our Greenville/Spartanburg, South Carolina OR Knoxville, Tennessee location. Relocation is not available for this role.*

Job Description:

Eskola, LLC is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Senior Corporate Accountant! The Senior Corporate Accountant is responsible for maintaining accounts and reconciliation of company accounts. The Senior Accountant will also be involved with preparing sales taxes and administering business licenses and may also assist Regional Controllers in other accounting related tasks.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for timely and accurate journal entries
  • Responsible for reconciliation of general ledger accounts and maintaining general ledger account balance schedules
  • Maintain license schedule and assist with license filing
  • Provide support for the company purchase card program
  • Maintain vendor receivable schedules
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts to include: insurance accruals, long term debt, and equity
  • Assist with insurance and financial statement audits
  • Responsible for timely, accurate and efficient accounting close on a monthly basis
  • Other ad hoc accounting requests as required


Job Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting
  • 3+ years of accounting experience
  • Must have solid communication, technical, analytical and management skills
  • Should possess knowledge of all aspects of generally accepted accounting principles
  • Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task
  • Must be able to work as part of a team and in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems
  • Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines
  • Experience in construction accounting is highly valued
  • Experience in Microsoft Office 365, Construction based ERP, Foundation, and DataForma highly valued
  • Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening as a condition of hire.
